A Few Bits and a Thankyou!
These are a few cards and the last one a fat page that I have made recently but never got round to blogging. I like to blog most of my work, not just for showing but to use as reference. My style of cardmaking does alter on a day to day basis. I like the cute cards but do like to make altered pieces as well although I never feel as confident with these as there are so many crafters out there who do fantastic pieces. I can only try my best and I do have some work that I do feel proud to have made. When I've made my card, I usually put it on the mantel for a few days before its either sent on or put away in a box for safe keeping. My family think I'm mad but I like to look at them and say to myself "I made that", especially if I'm very happy with what I have achieved. My confidence has grown over the last few months and I have been trying new ways to colour and techniques. I"d like to thank you for choosing to view my blog, I love reading all the comments and it can really be a great motivator!! I'd also like to say that I have made some wonderful friends through the forums and my blog and am very happy and proud to be part of the crafting community!
Now I think I'd best find a hankie!!!

Your cards are beautiful and so are you! You know what....I do the same thing when I'm done making a card. I place it on a shelf and "if" I like it the next day I post it. I have quite a few cards put away waiting to be adjusted.*smile* Take care and I am glad to have met you!
malieta:)
Great cards Claire :-) I always leave my cards out - but usually to check I've made them right side up and have no silly mistakes on them! :-) xxxx
Good on you, you should be proud of what you've made, they're very beautiful :) And I know what you mean about changing styles, it's good to experiment. Glad your confidence is growing, long may it continue :)
Thank you too for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment, it really does make it all worthwhile doesn't it :)
Gosh Claire, I can't keep up with you and your blogging LOL.
These are all lovely. The first card is just so beautiful, love the papers and the stamp you've used. The second one, again gorgeous papers and such an elegant card. The ickle bird is such a cute card and your winter FBP is lovely too.
I just love your cards!! And that snowy winter page.........LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! It's just gorgeous!!! I agree....I've made some of the best friends ever thru the forums and blogging!! Aren't we a special bunch!!!! Hugs!!

Love all of these- Great work!
Glad to see I'm not the only one doing 'christmassy' things!!!!
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, what a lovely blog you have...I put my cards and my paintings out for a few days on my mantle. When I have first finished them I am too picky, whereas after a day or so, I can honestly evaluate them better :-) You make some lovely distressed cards too...ChrissyX
