Tilda & Friends Challenge
This is my weeks entry to Tilda's ATC Challenge. This weeks theme is "Dotty". I have paper pieced her Jumper, trousers and shoes and coloured the res with copic markers. I used a dotty backing paper and edges with an inkpad. The fence is from my Cricut and have used some dimensional paint on the fence and dotted some into the corner. Hope you like my entry!!!
Incase I haven't mentioned it - (LOL), tomorrow is my Birthday, 38 years younger!!! I have a pile of cards waiting to be opened and have spent all morning drooling over them. May take some time as they are so far 92, and they are all from fellow crafters!!!! So may not have time to craft tomorrow, as soon as I've dropped the kids off to school, I will be coming home, quick cuppa and then make a start. Was thinking about opening a few at midnight as I am still usually up at that time, but keep telling myself than I'm not a child any more and can wait...... We'll see............Thanks to those who have sent, you certainly made it a day to look forward to!!!!!!!!

ArtyGlitz and Sunday Stamper Challenge
This is one of those cards that was not planned at all but just came together, and without blowing my own trumpet, I am really chuffed with the result. Saturday night I was scribbling prisma pencils on a scrap of paper, thought it looks quite effective to blended sansodor with them to create a background and ripped one of the edges. I then used my collage stamp and coloured with H20's, something I haven't used in a very long time. I ripped some copper background paper and matted stamped image. The backing paper is from Crafty Individual. I then added an image from the Tuscan Rose CD and edged all around the papers with a dark pigment pad. To finish, I cut up a few squares of friendly plastic and heated and used various objects to create impressions in it. Added these around the card and its ready for this weeks challenges at Artyglitz which was to create your own background and Sunday Stamper which is words, there are words on the backing paper and the stamp.

A Few Bits and a Thankyou!
These are a few cards and the last one a fat page that I have made recently but never got round to blogging. I like to blog most of my work, not just for showing but to use as reference. My style of cardmaking does alter on a day to day basis. I like the cute cards but do like to make altered pieces as well although I never feel as confident with these as there are so many crafters out there who do fantastic pieces. I can only try my best and I do have some work that I do feel proud to have made. When I've made my card, I usually put it on the mantel for a few days before its either sent on or put away in a box for safe keeping. My family think I'm mad but I like to look at them and say to myself "I made that", especially if I'm very happy with what I have achieved. My confidence has grown over the last few months and I have been trying new ways to colour and techniques. I"d like to thank you for choosing to view my blog, I love reading all the comments and it can really be a great motivator!! I'd also like to say that I have made some wonderful friends through the forums and my blog and am very happy and proud to be part of the crafting community!
Now I think I'd best find a hankie!!!

I coloured my Tilda with Copic Markers again, added 2 flowers and brads and papers from DaisyD's and Paper Adventure. I've matt and layered the image onto bazill cardstock and gone around the edge with a pink pigment ink pad, I have used green on the other 2 papers and both colours around the edge of the card. Stamped "Friend to Friend" to complete the card.

"Emmy"
"Emmy" (cuddly buddly stamp) has to be one of my favourite stamps at the moment. She looks great however she's used. I have again paper pieced her on this card. The image is quite simple to cut out and its nice to dress her up! I've paper pieced her outfit and coloured her with prismacolours and sansador. Her skin was coloured with a copic marker, this was the only one I had before I went and bought a whole load of them. The backing paper is Making Memories and used Bazzill Cardstock which I have punched with a empuncher. Have added a flower, brad and a gingham bow. Hopefully its going to be a sunny saturday, I really need to think about getting in the garden, shrubs are starting to grow and if I dont get out there and prune a few things, it will start to take over!! Have a lovely weekend.

I stamp the Fairy and Sentiment with Black Versafine, the stamps are from Lavinia Stamps, I then added leaves (4th Dimension) around the edge of the card and watercoloured with pencils. Dont think this cards fits any challenges but I like them! Have a good weekend, its looking quite spring like out there today.......

I made this ATC with the new "Bricks and Mortar" Stamps from Paper Artsy. I distress the edge of the papers from Crafty Individuals and stamped the image on direct. The houses have also been stamped onto patterned paper and cut out. As "life isn't a straight line", I've placed everything a bit wonky. Thanks for looking!

BIA with Friendly Plastic
Haven't made a BIA book since before christmas so thought it was about time to blow the cobwebs away and put it into use. Have made this BIA with 2 4 x 4 Coasters and cut plain paper to size for pages. They are covered with Crafty Indivdual Papers. I used my friendly plastic before starting this book which is how it all began. Tryed to make a flower, not sure of it worked very well but love the colours in it! I added some Pigment Powders, Glimmer Mists and Glossy Accents to it. The bird is from Tattered Angels Glimmer Chips and have coloured with Cosmic Shimmer and sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I've added 2 rub ons from 7 Gypsies and that is my little book!

Daring Cardmaker
This weeks challenge for Daring Cardmaker is Butterflies. I love colours on this card, these papers are my favourite at the moment. Crafty Individuals (Springtime) pad was all that was used apart from a piece of gold card for matt and layering and a butterfly from the Glimmer Chip range (nature) which I distressed with worn lipstick crackle paint and a green inkpad and the stamp is from StampAttack. If you enlarge the picture, you'll see I've added some Glossy Accents to the leaves! This is going to one of my friends whose birthday is very soon!

Friendly Plastic Brooch
After seeing my friend Linda demonstrating how to use this product I went ahead and bought just a few bits to try out. I made this brooch using 2 colours and moulded the head seperately and then stuck on. Friendly plastic is just so much fun and although the picture is pretty rubbish the colours are great, I added some glimmer mists to it as well and edged with Gold Krylon Pen. Seeings as its my 1st effort I was quite pleased with it but hope to have a few more practices soon!
Artistic Stamper Challenge
This is my first ever Gothic Arch and am pretty pleased with how its turned out!. The background was made with ecoline ink. I wet some card, splodged some colours onto the card and moved it around then added some gold ecoline and spritzed again holding the card upside down to let the inks run and blend. I then stamped a border, added image, a button and wording. This arch fits this weeks "Artistic Stamper" Challenge which has to be based on Architecture. Jennie has some lovely stash in her shop!! Go take a look.

My Time to Craft Challenge Card
Before I started paper crafting, I used to do cross stitch cards and still make the odd one. I finished this project a few months ago but never got to mount it, so seeing this weeks challenge at "My Time to Craft" is Stitches, I made the card up. Looks like I'm off to Alexandra Palace tomorrow, a friend has said I can jump in with her so no doubt will be back with loads of new stash. Dont need much to be honest but I just cant help myself!!!! Have a good weekend.

I then went around the card with Distress Crackle Paint and added a gingham bow to finish.

I used papers from Doodlin Daisies and pink Bazzill cardstock. The backing paper and another coordinating was used to piece the stamp which is quite simply stamping design onto paper, cutting it out and using to dress. The heart tag stamp is from Magnolia and have coloured and 3D'd the smallest heart. I Have added buttons on top of adhesive ribbon and a ribbon bow which fits this weeks challenge at `'CMUTD" and added a rub on sentiment. Colouring was with Sansador and Prisma pencils.

Made a handful of cute cards with my cute "Elephant Stamp" and a Birthday sentiment, each stamped onto randon backing papers. Not the most detailed but have so many birthdays on the horizon, I'm sure these will be fine.

Sunday Stamper/Forum Challenge Card
THis card fits 2 challenges this week. The Sunday Stamper was the colour "Green" and the challenge this week at Just Bex was to use Circles or Dots on the card, so have combined the two. The papers on the the card are DCWV "Winter Stack". The bird and flower stamp on the card are from the new Laura Ashley range and the stamp on the heart is unknown I'm afraid. Thats the only thing I do not like about clear stamps, at least with the wooden blocks, the manufacturer is printed on it. The heart was die cut with my Cricut. I went around the edge of the card with Tim Holtz Crackle paint in Frayed Burlap and rubbed over with a gold "Galaxy Marker" pen, which was also used to highlight some detail on the stamp. Usually associate green with christmas cards, so made a nice change! Food shop to do today but hoping to craft for an 1 hour if possible. 2 of my children break up today, but the other one will still be at school, which means no lay ins for me. Have a nice weekend!
