Cupcake Craft Challenge DT Card - A Recipe - Challenge Card

I've had this stamp quite a while and couldn't wait to ink her up. This weeks challenge over at The Cupcake Craft Challenge is a Recipe of 3 Buttons, 2 Papers and 2 Ribbon. This is one of those cards that just fell into place and the stamp Inca Stamps) was a pleasure to colour. Papers are BG June Bug, MS Doily Punch, Shapabilities Die, and Woodware Inverted Corner Punch. All the other bits are from my stash. I've coloured the image with Promarkers and added Crystal Stickles and a Gold Spica Pen to hightlight, then edges the image with a stitched effect tape runner pen from DaisyD. This card also fits in with this weeks Crafts 4 Eternity which is "Buttons".

I'm going to pretty quiet in blogland this next week. Its the last few days before the children go back to school but whats really sad is that Daniel will be starting Senior School and will be boarding at a Special Needs school in Margate from Thursday. Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - DT Card

I've not done a Pink/Brown combo for a very long time but decided to play with a new paper pad for this weeks Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge. This weeks theme has been chosen the lovely Cathy and is Flights of Fancy, basically anything with wings. I have used a HH Stamp and coloured her with Promarkers. The papers are from the Paper Cellar and have used a Martha Stewart Punch on both of the papers. Everything has been edged with a Brown Chalk Ink Pad. I only tend to use mine for edging/distressing and I love the result they give. Do take a look at what other pretty cards/projects the rest of the DT have come up with. Gorgeous creations and we would love it if you could join in this week.

Today, we have one of my hubbys old school mates coming over. We have not seen him for 14 years so it will be so nice to catch up. Wondering what he looks like now, bet he's thinking the same LOL. Last time I saw him, Jessica was a newborn and I used to walk down his street with her in the pram. How times flies by. So will catch up with your lovely blogs sometime over the Bank Holiday weekend. Stampin For The Weekend DT Card

Its Friday and I have that Friday felling, cant wait for the long weekend. Week 13 over at Stampin For The Weekend and we have a great challenge for you this week. Kimmi's daughter has just celebrated her 1st Birthday so this week we have gone with the theme of "Babies". I have used papers from Basic Grey, Magnolia Image, coloured with Copics, Flowers and Buttons from stash, and the new Shapabilities. Jessica got her 1st exam results yesterday, she started year 10 in May, and they do their GSCE's a year early. She got and A* and B in science so looks like we have a brain box. We are so proud and btw, her nose is healing nicely.

LOTV/Bearly MIne DT & Challenges

Hello everyone, today we have another challenge for you over at Lili of the Valley and this weeks is a great sketch for you to follow. For my card I have have used the gorgeous papers from Bearly Mine Design, Extreme Vol3. The image is Magnolia coloured with Promarkers and the Dies have all been cut on my MM Slice. This card also fits in with this weeks Passion for Promarker challenge. I have used 3 of the colours on the image, Lilac, Aubergine and Amethyst and ABC which is "C" for Circles. Sorry I'm a bit quiet atm. Tuesday night my DD gashed the bridge of her nose and was in A & E till the early hrs of the morning, hence no school for her yesterday as we were suffering from sleep deprovation. They have glued it for minimal scarring so I hoping it wont be too bad afterwards. The final countdown till the other 2 go back next week. I have alot to do over the next few days but will visit as many blogs as I can.

ICS DT Card

This week we have a lovely sketch over at the Inspirational Card Sketches. I have had to us and A5 card for this one just to fit this gorgeous image from Tina Wenkes, Mouse and Rabbit with Sunflower available from Secret Crafter Shop.

The backing papers are from Bearly Mines new Designer Extreme VOL 3 disc available HERE. I have coloured the image with Prisma Pencils and Sansodor and a Yellow and Green Spica Pens, and have used a chalk ink pad to distress the background. The sentiment is from Stampattack and the script background that was again used with a chalk ink pad is from B Line Designs. Added flowers from stash and Lilac Bazzill.

Cupcake Craft Challenge DT Card - A Shaped Card

What gorgeous weather we here yesterday, sat in the garden with my Prisma's while hubby done the BBQ. Thats the life for me LOL. Todays challenge over at Cupcake is "A Shaped Card", anything but square. I used my old bookatrix board for this. Had it for years and hardly ever use it so blew off the cobwebs for this occassion. The image is from Cuddly Buddly and have coloured with Copics. The sentiment is one of my favourites, a stamp from Stamps By Woo.

Added some flowers form stash just to pretty it up. I chose to keep this card pretty simple, a case of less is more. Ilda Co are sponsoring this weeks challenge with some free digi images to I do hope you can take part.

Secret Crafter DT Card/Stamptacular

A sunny saturday here and I'm back with my 1st DT card since my holiday. This weeks challenge over at the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge has been set by the lovely Mandy and the theme is Brown and Turquoise. Wendy, the owner of the Secret Crafter Shop, kindly sent the DT some stamped images of the new Stampavie - Tina Wenke - I have used Sending Valentines and have now ordered this stamp for my collection. It has been coloured with SU Watercolour Crayons. I now have the full set and just love using these with the SU Blender Pen. I distressed the background and edged with Fluid Chalk Ink Pads. The papers are BG "Lime Rickey" except for the brown strip which is a scrap. Raffia Lace is from Bunny Zoes Crafts. MS Border and Butterfly punch and the rest from stash. Its so nice to be back crafting and I really enjoy my cardmaking. Do take a look at the other DT cards, lots of inspiration for you.

Bearly Mine DT Card

Last week Bearly Mine Designs had a blog hop to launch the new Designer Extreme Vol 111 Disc and here is a sample card I made for the DT. These papers just get better and Donna has done a fabulous job with the new disc. Not only do you get the scrummy papers, she has incorporated the inserts as well. This was a bit of a rush job for me, I made it before I went away so didn't get round to adding the insert but take my word, they are gorgeous. Stampin For The Weekend DT Card

Week 10 over at Stampin for the Weekend. Gosh, where has the time gone, too quick for my liking. This weeks have a fantastic sketch from our Vicki. Had a lot of fun with this and have to say I am so pleased with my card. The papers are BG June Bug. The pink flower was cut in my MM Slice and the corners are done with a punch. I stamped the strawberry and fern onto cardstock and colours. Prismas and Sansodor on the strawberry with a little red Spica pen. Fern was coloured with Copics and Sakura pens. I stamped Tilda seperately and cut her out. She's been coloured with Prisma's and have used Copics for the skin. The butterfly is a chipboard piece from K & CO and all other bits are from my stash.

Whimsy DT And Challenges

Wow, its been a scorcher here today. Temperature topped 31 degrees and its now very muggy. For this card I have used "Princess Emma" from Whimsy Stamps. She's one of my favourites and of course her beautiful dress can be coloured any way that you desire. I have used papers from MME Penny Lane. Paper pieced her dress and coloured with Promarkers. Used my MS Lattice Punch for the border. All the other bits are from my stash. Was intending to add an insert from Bearly Mine Designs, but the printer has ran out of pink ink and I wont have the time to get a refill before my holiday.

Inspirational Card Sketches -DT Card

Good morning from a very cloudy South of England. This week challenge over at ICS is a fantastic sketch from Dawn and she would also like to see a Christmas theme, and here is my take on this weeks sketch. Was playing with my MM Slice so chose ovals intead of rectangles. Remember the sketch is there for you interpret how you wish. The papers are BG Figgy Pudding and the stamp is "Frosty" from Hampton Art. The border is an MS punch and have finished with a bow and 2 snowflake buttons.

Cupcake Craft Challenge DT Card & My Good News

Its monday and week 3 of the school holidays. 6 days and we are off on our holiday so counting down the days and a very busy week ahead of me. Today at Cupcake Craft Challenge, we have a "Beach Themed" Challenge chosen by Sandy, for you to try. Have to say out of all the stamps I own, I am pretty limited in this field so chose to go with my Pink Cat Studio Stamps. I've coloured the image with Promarkers and used Copics for the skin. The papers are BG Lemonade and the fishy border is from a Woodware Set of stamps. Used my MS Doily Punch and added some Pebbles Inc Candy Dots along the bottom border.

Clogged Up Stickles??

Well I'm back into my crafting this evening with some of the fab new Christmas LOTV stamps and was just using the stickles when it clogged up. Sometimes I use a pin but lately I've taken to use the wire stem that you find on the handmade flowers that a lot of us seem to use. Thin enough to fit into the nozzle and I can guarantee it works every time!!!!

Whimsy and Bearly MIne DT Card + Challenges

I'm having a lazy day, the sun is shining and I put the chores on hold so thought I'd sit and play with my stash for an hour. This card uses "Baseball Connor" from the Kids Collection over at Whimsy Stamps. They have a terrific range of stamps, you really need to take a look at the newly released Animal Collection to. Both the papers on this card are from the Designer Extreme Vol 1 at Bearly Mine Designs. Vol 2 and an Insert Disc is also available and Vol 3 is due to be launched very soon.

Whimsy Stamps is sponsoring this weeks Truly Scrumptious Challenge which has a great sketch to follow and the addition of beads. I have added lots of brown beads to the centres of all the buttons but I'm afraid the camera didn't pick them up very well. "Connor" has been coloured with SU Watercolour Crayons and I finished the card by adding Scrabble Tiles. Secret Crafter DT Card/Dutchdare Challenge

Hello everyone, its time for another Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge. Time goes too fast for my liking. Kids been off for a fortnight and before I know it, they will all be back at school. I took the kids down to Dymchurch for the day yesterday. Its a nice seaside town, not too big and only 1/2hr from here. The weather was pretty good and we all love the 2p pushers in the arcades so they managed to empty my purse and more LOL.

Back to this weeks challenge, the them has been set by the lovely Jill and she has chosen a lovely sketch, my only problem was which stamp to use, I seem to have quite a collection of unused stash just piling up!! LOL. I have used a stamp from Motivet. I adore these cute characters and had so much fun colouring her in. I was quite experimental colourin her in this time, used CFopics, Prismas Pencils and Sansodor, H20's and SU Ink Pads and I masked and spritzed the background with Glimmer Mists. The papers are from the English Paper Company. Lace and flowers from stash and used a punch for the swirls.
