Lilli Of the Valley DT Card

Hello everyone. Sorry for my absence. My stash is all tucked away so this will be my last piece till the new year.
This week at Lilli Of The Valley, we would like to see a New Year Card. I decided to go one step further and make a calender card. The papers and ickle birdies are Magnolia, coloured with Copics and have cut the year on my MM Slice. The challenge runs for 2 weeks.
Sorry for the rush post, not enough time to see what challenges are out there. I'm a busy bee today.
I'd like to Wish you all a very "Merry Christmas" and a very Happy New Year!
Have lots of fun over the festivities and hope Santa brings you want you want.

Multi Challenge Easel Card

Boy is it cold outside and down to -5 on the school run. Way too cold to be going out today so gonna get the house in order and wrap some pressies then hopefully find a slot for an hours crafting, had no time over last few weeks. Christmas sure is a busy time for all.

I coloured this gorgeous Magnolia image a few weeks ago, just not found any time to do anything with it. Coloured with Copics and Derwent Colorsoft, I chose to do another easel as these are my favourite and took the sketch from this weeks Friday Sketchers. Papers are BG and Magnolia. Made a scroll with a scrap of paper and ditressed the edges and added Stickles. MS Border Punch down the side with a trim of lace. A mix of embellishments, and lots of stickles and for once I remembered to use one of my many charms, I like the Christmas Tree!

And what with it being Christmas, this card meets Lots of challenges

Well I hope you are all organised for Christmas. Only a few day before the children break so I'm gonna be a busy bee over the next few days.
Take Care and Thanks For Looking!

WOJ and other challenges!

I have not entered a WOJ challenge for a very long time, but after receiving my new stamps I just had to play along with this weeks sketch. Think this is one of my favourite christmas stamps right now. I had so much fun colouring it. Last night I stamped some images and had a few hours just colouring. I love using my Copics but adding Pencil to them really makes a difference so I used Copics and a Mix of Prisma's and Derwent Coloursoft, blending with Sansador. Just love the overall effect. A little more time consuming but worth the effort imo.
The papers are BG Eskimo Kisses and the Sentiment is also WOJ. The flowers have sparkle and I have used a red Spica Pen for the baubles on the tree (not showing very well).

This card also fits in with a few other challenges and alot are chistmas themed so no surprises there!

Here are the other challenges, a great mix and I had alotta fun;

Taken a few piccies. The sun is shining today but I think it may be a bit too bright - LOL
Thanks for looking, the weekend is here, Christmas Tree going up tomorrow and I really need to get prepared for Christmas. Coming round way to quick again.
Have a great weekend and thanks for taking the time to have a look at my card!

Multi Challenge Card

I made an A5 card for a change as the die was so large. This is the Magnolia image I coloured the other week, she is so pretty and so glad my mojo returned as just love her on this card. Coloured with Copics, Derwent Pencils and Stickles.
Also distressed the paper with Tims Tool and inked with a Cocoa Chalk Ink Pad.

Sorry about the terrible piccie, really dull here and the conservatory is normally the best place for light. It is so much prettier IRL. I followed the sketch at this weeks Sketch Saturday. The papers are a mix of BG and Fancy Pants and Chocolate Bazill cardstock I have added a glaze to the sledge though not picked up and White Flower Soft around her feet. The frame is Spellbinders and the sentiment is also Magnolia. Lace is from stash.
Now must get on with a few chores
Thanks for Looking and enjoy the rest of your week!

Feeling a little inspired!

(Rubbish photo, poor lighting)

Thankyou for the lovely comments to help me get my mojo going again. I just love my Cyber Friends!! My mojo isn't back to full swing yet, I'm just not feeling it, but have made a start and coloured my Magnolia. Just not sure what I want to do with her next. Maybe if I sit here long enough staring at her something may spring to mind LOL. I did work my way to the bottom of the pringle tube, but my mojo wasn't there, so the hunt go on. I'll try another tube I think!!!
Hubby got the new TV up and running. The old one which is also quite big is now sitting in the middle of our dining room floor, unconnected. My dining table is now in the conservatory, which was in the dining room. Its a right old muddle. We wont agree as to where the old TV is going, so not easy to craft right now as I dont really have a space. Its a right old rigmarol so wont bore you any more but lets hope I'm in the winning corner- lol.
Think I'll do a spot of blog hopping again, see if it helps and I bet there are some great challenges right now. I've more than enough on my sidebar. Fingers crossed and Thanks for the support.
Hugs to all and hope to be back sooner rather than later with another card. Its really buggin me!

The Sugar Bowl Challenge

Marlene has done a fab sketch for The Sugar Bowl Challenge and I couldn't wait to get started. Not done an Easel Card for a while and was itching to get another made.

I just adore this new stamp. Angel Wishes by SN. Stamped onto Neenah Solar White and coloured with Copic markers. Must say a massive thanks for the link to Rach. This paper works a dream and well worth buying. I've distressed around the image with Chalk Ink Pads and added a Clear Spica Pen to the wings. Incorporated the ZigZag with a Martha Stewart Punch and RicRac. Papers are a mix of Imaginesce and Magnolia. The flowers have been sprayed with Glimmer Mists, and Rocky Candy Stickles added but not showing so well in the picture.

If you click on it, you'll get a larger image and may see better. The sentiment is from LOTV. I love the font style on this stamp.
Alot to do today, so will big thanks for stopping by my blog and have a lovely weekend
Many Thanks

LOTV DT Card and a few challenges

This is my card for this weeks LOTV. A great sketch and I had so much fun with this one. Looks like the rest of the DT did as well, they've made some fabby cards!

Something I have not done for a very long time is Heat Emboss. So thats what I did with the image (HH) and then coloured with Copics. I used a Chalk Ink Pad around it and sprayed with Glimmer Mist. The papers are a mix of Basic Grey and the sentiment from Krafty Kimmies has been punched with my new Woodware Retro Word Punch. I used my Distress Tool around the paper and tinted the edges with a Brown Chalk Ink Pad. Added sparkly lace and flowers. The hinge down the side is Grungeboard that I have coloured with a Rangers Dabber and sprayed with Glimmer Mists and finished with a few Metal Brads. I've added quite a bit of the new Rock Candy Stickles and Glamour Dust to the flower but dont think the camera has picked this up very well. Do believe me, there is alot of shimmer on this card.

I do hope you can play along with this fab sketch. Remember you do not have to use LOTV products for the challenge.
Talking of challenges, mine fits in with a few;
Simon Says - Animal Antics
Basic Grey - Glitter and Bling
Lots to Do - Embossing

Well I've the grandparents shop to do today and what I'd like to know is how long does Tennis Elbow last? Just when I think its getting better, put a bit of weight on it and theres the pain again...... So much for wearing the sling, I'm pretty dependent on my right arm, eapecially when it comes to crafting!
Enjoy the rest of the week and just a reminder my candy closes tomorrow night. ALL WELCOME.

Madlynn Multi Challenge Card

It really is a rotten day weather wise here in Kent. Wind howling and heavy bursts of rain. Hubby just taken the kids to the cinema so I'm staying put and gonna hopefully catch up with some of your blogs.

This is my new Madlynn from the GF that I received the other day. Not had a lot of crafting time this week, my tennis elbow is easing but not back to 100% just yet.
I have coloured her with Copics and Prisma Pencils, added lots of sparkle and punched snowflakes which haved been stickled and distressed with a Chalk Ink Pad. All the papers are from the Magnolia Christmas Range.
This is one of those cards that fits into lots of challenges, not intended but hayho!
Oh, and I won this weeks Bee Crafty and the One Stop Craft Challenge, I'm on a roll!!! YAY.......
Thanks for stopping by and remember you can still join in with the LOTV Blog HERE and of course my Candy is still open to all.

Daniels Card and Challenges

Hello everyone, what a great day we had yesterday for Daniels Birthday, he loved each and every card that you sent and both me and Daniel send a heart warming thanks for helping to make it so special. I will post a list of names tomorrow. I know there are a few more to arrive and I have to drive to my SIL's shortly as Daniel stayed overnight.
This is the card I made for Daniel, coloured with Promarkers. He loved this card and I have to say it is not my usual but I really enjoyed putting this together. Nice to use a DL for change to!
My card also fits into a few challenges
Quixotic - Birthday
Cute Card Thursday - Primary Colours
Crafty CardMarker - Stamp Something

I was also lucky enough to win lasts weeks Bee Crafty Challenge with my Dove Easel Card. A free Digi Image of my choice - YAY!!!!

After Daniel opened his pressies, we went to my SIL's and in the evening went down to the Historical Parade that goes threw Battle High Street,. Then onto the field for a spectacular fire work display. One of the best I have ever been to and it was a free event so anyone in the Kent/Sussex area should really try this out next year. It lashed down with rain in the later part of the evening but we all thoroughly enjoyed outselves, then back to my SIL's for Birthday Cake and Party Balloons.
Thanks again, it really helped make Daniels day more special as he doesn't have Birthday Parties and I know he was very grateful that you took the time out with your stunning cards!!

LOTV DT Card

Hello to you all. A sunny start to the day here and yes, I am back with the LOTV Design Team.
This weeks challenge is a theme, 3 papers, 2 stamps and 1 embellishment. Of course I had to use another one of the beauties due to be launched this weekend at the NEC. I cant go as its Daniels Birthday on Saturday but I will get there one day.

I have used papers from MME "Bloom and Grow". Coloured with Copics and die cut with my Nesties. Do you like the frame's? I got the link from Chris's blog for a free Photo Editing so had to have a little play.
I do hope you can play along with this weeks challenge and you DO NOT have to use LOTV products, anything goes!!
I took the sketch from this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge and this also fits in with the Stamp Something challenge and Flutterby Wednesday.
Of to the doctors shortly.Having trouble moving my arm and its quite painful, thinking maybe Tennis Elbow????

Another LOTV Sneak Peak!!!

(Firstly apologise for dark photo, its pitch black here but I was too impatient to wait till morning)

Here is another sneak Peak of one of the new stamps due to be launched at LOTV. Now I have to be honest, this was supposed to be my DT card for Thursdays new LOTV Challenge, but I got so engrossed in what I was doing, the challenge went totally out of the window - LOL. So this is a card I made for fun with no challenges in mind. The papers are BG Lemonade, I followed the sketch from the Sugar Bowl the other week. Think this is a firm favourite. I've coloured her with Promarkers and added Shimmerz Paints. The dies are various cut on my Cricut and the sentiment is from Butterfly Kisses that I bought from Ally Pally last year but had yet to use.

Now I have a DT card to be getting on with this evening. Hope my mojo stays in tact! Dont want to go out anyway, the weather is rotten.
Wishing you all a cosy evening!

LOTV Sneak Peak Card and Challenges

Monday morning and the kids are all back at school. Dentist cancelled on me first thing. What a shame, I was so looking forward to it - NOT!!!!!!

This is my sneak peak card of the new range of stamps that are to be launched shortly from LOTV. These are just adorable and although Fairies really aren't my thing, she is a pretty little thing. I enjoyed this sweet image. Another easel card and BG Bittersweet papers. Coloured her with Promarkers and added lots of Diamond Glaze but I dont think this really shows in the piccies. The sentiment is a Rub on and the Die Frame was cut with my Nesties. 2 MS punches and buttons and punched corners for the base.

My card also meets challenges this week at Daring Cardmaker, Fun with Shapes and the sketch was taken from Crafty Catz
Thanks for looking, have a good week.

Christmas Dove Easel Card

I get so much pleasure out of making these Easel Cards. They are so easy and so much fun!
This is my 3rd Easel Card and I used my new 12 x 12 MME Signature Christmas Glitter Pad.
These papers are the most stunning and I was relunctant to cut them up. May even treat myself to another pad, just for stroking!!!

The image is a digi download available HERE. I saw the DT cards on a challenge blog and fell in love with the Dove, think he can be very versitile.

I have coloured the Dove with Promarkers and used Glossy Accents on his nose and drops on the leaves. Then 3d'd his wing which has been edged with a chesnut inpad and painted with Shimmerz and a touch of Crystal Stickles. also used the brown inkpad on all the papers for a more destressed feel. All the other bits are from my stash.

I have followed this weeks Friday sketcher and used this weeks theme of Spots and Stripes at Papertake Weekly. Crafty Catz has a theme of Buttons or Brads and Simon Says Challenge. There theme is All That Sparkles (wings and flowers) which I am also entering this into, My Time to Craft and finally Bee Crafty which is distressing!

Would love to thank all those who have participated in my Candy so Far and the great response I have had from bloggers who have offered to send Daniel a Birthday Card!!!
Thanks for looking and have a lovely day

Christmas Elf and My Poor Zoe!

Last week the local post office agreed to let me stock some of my cards in their village shop. So was planning a busy weekend of inserts and bagging up but when I picked Zoe up from school on Friday she was feeling unwell. By 5pm she was asleep on the sofa and later at night a temp of 38.4. I had a really bad night and by saturday her temp was up to 39.3. I would usually put this down to a kids virus, after 3 children you get a feel of how serious it is. But with Swine Flu around and her symptoms, of the high temp, mild cough, runny nose, headache and the amount of sleeping she has done, went on the Pandemic Website. It came up with a yes and we were given an authorisation code for Tamiflu which we have collected. She is still quite ill today but I have not given the Tamiflu as yet. Side effects are sickness but she's coping and fighting the virus herself so am holding off.

Anyway, back to this card. I watercoloured the image last week with Marvy Le Plume pens. I haven't used these in years but was looking for a different tecnique. The papers are Forever Friends (santa's on his way). Snowflakes are a punch and have coloured with Shimmerz and Glimmer Mists. MS Snowflake punch, Lace and scallop die cut out on my MM Slice. This card fits in with a few challenges today, Winter Wonderland, Forever Friends, Our Creative Corner (gone with the film ELF) & Crazy 4 Challenge.

Am hoping to find some time today to blog hop, but have a roast to cook and am backwards and forwards with Zoe. The Nurofen works well and keeps her temperature down but I still like to give her lots of TLC.
Thanks for looking!!

My annual plea for Daniel. Daniel is 12 on the 7th November and is on the Autistic Spectrum. He doesn't socialize and loves recieving your handmade cards. As most will know, for the last 2 years I have asked if some of you could send a card for him to open and the response has been overwhelming. He recieving nearly 100 last year. I think he enjoys this more than the presents. Love watching his face light up. He started a boarding school for Autistic Children in Sept and although he misses home, is slowly settling in and we do get him back every weekend. So if you could help, I'd truly appreciate it.

Anya Easel Card

This is card I made just for fun. Just me playing with my stash although it does fit in with a challenge. I love making these Easel Cards, so simple and really stand out. I paper pieced Anya and coloured with Promarkers. The papers are BG Indian Summer and the dies and "Mum" were cut out on my MM Slice. Handmade the flower using the Retro Punches. All other bits from stash. This card fits in with the new Crafty Calendar Challenge which has an Autumn Theme.

Well the weekend is upon us and Zoe breaks up today. Jessica and Daniel have already been off a week but at least I get 1 week of no school runs.

My candy is coming together nicely. Just waiting for a few more bits to arrive. There is going to be lots of stamps, (loose tongue now, Anya, Kraftin Kimmies ) _OOPS!!! and lots of other bits and bobs for your craftroom. Hopefully get it on my blog early next week.

I haven't posted my annual plea for Daniel. Now I need to get ontop of the chores and am hoping to make another card today.
Thats all for now, thanks for looking.

Passion for Promarkers GDT Card

This is my final week as GDT for Passion for Promarkers and I would like to thank the team for having me on board and it was a pleasure to work with them all. My collection of Promarkers has grown since but I dont mind at all.
I've used BG Eskimo Kisses for this card. I've now got 3 pads as I just love each and every paper. It was my week to chose the theme and with christmas in mind I opted for FORREST GREEN and POPPY, though what theme you choose is up to you. I've added stickles to Anya and the flower in the card was handmade by myself. I punched white tissue paper with Retro punches, layered them up then scrunched them in my hand. Then a good spray of Glimmer Mists and more Crystal Stickles. Dont think I got the best of shots but you get the idea.

I'm sorting out my candy and now see I have hit over 500 followers so an extra item or 2 will be added as my way of saying thanks.
This card also fits in with the Die Cut Dreams - Winter Wonderland, Lots to Do - Create Any Card, PaperPlay Challenge - Favourite Embellishment.
Now a lazy day indoors and hopefully a little more crafting.
A big thanks from me for all the wonderful comments. I love reading your feedback and it helps give me that kick up the backside when I need it.
Thanks for looking

My 1st Easel Card

I've seen quite a few of these on peeps blogs so I stayed up into early hours of this morning trying one of for myself. They are so easy to make and I think I may be hooked on them for sometime.

Mine is a 6 x 6 and have used BG Granola. Edwin was a Rak I was sent but after colouring him in with Copics I realised he should be sitting on something. I cant draw stick men but attempted a tree branch. I'm hoping you can make that out for yourself!!! lol. MS Lattice Punch and Tags and "Brother" cut out on my MM Slice. This is my alltime favourite Die Cutter and am slowly building up my collection of cartridges. Have added 3 gems to stop the card from sliding and it seems to hold it up fine.
This fits in with the Magnolia - Licious - Easel Card, Stamp With Fun - Sketch, Creative Inspiration - Family, Everybody Art - Shapes or Punches

Hubbys in Paris on business for the day, so guess who's driving the Porshe!!! Think it kinda suits me - LOL...........But musn't get to comfy.
Bring on the weekend
Thanks for looking!!

The Sugar Bowl

Do you like my new look blog! Thought it was time for a change and with some gentle instruction from my mate Minxy (who has a great candy up for grabs) I'm now all pink and cute.

I haven't entered The Sugar Bowl for quite some time. Infact, I think I've only ever played once before and that was a very long time ago. But I loved Tiets sketch and was eager to ink up this gorgeous SN Stamp. I've coloured it with Copic Markers and the papers are all Basic grey Eskimo Kisses. The Photo Corners are a little punch I have and the other dies were cut out on my MM Slice. And for a change, I actually decorated the inside. Nothing too fancy but I did like using the matching paper. Again the die shape was cut out on the MM Slice.

I'm really pleased with how this turned out and am sure to be using this fantastic sketch again.
Hope to be back with another card tomorrow
Thanks for Stopping!
