My Craft Area with new unit

Just a quickie before the school run. Here are some photo's of my craft space. The 60 draw unit on the left of the photo above is my new purchase and I Love It.
Took me 7 hours to put up myself (I don't do flat packs) but its standing and is such a great space saver.

These are a few other shots of my craft area. I have one side of the integral garage and although a lot of my stash is still in my dining room, this is the area I have been concentrating on.

I have been quite ruthless and got rid of a lot of stash, some going back years (including kanban) - eek.
Could have put some on E bay but I donated it to my daughters Junior School and I know there will be more to follow.

I love my new unit and it now homes my BigShot and MM Slice

Not enough hours in the day, I've still got a DT card to get done for tonight but am off to see my Grandad after school. My nan is still in hospital after 3 weeks and it looks like she will end up in a home in the near future.
Must dash, will try and catch up with some blogs tonight, I'm so behind!!

Hugs

It looks fab Claire and your stuff is so well organised! I had to laugh though..... spotted a can of Mr Sheen and some Sure deodorant!!! So the Mr Sheen is to fool people into thinking you tidy up your craft space and keep it nice and clean and the Sure is for when you work up a sweat choosing which papers to use, right? ROFL!!
Sorry to hear about your Gran, keep your chin up!

It looks fab. Where did the unit come from? Is it big enough for 12 x 12 papers? Hugs, Marie x

Sorry you nan still isn't well hunny, it must be such a worry.
Your craft room looks fab, I love those draw units I keep eyeing them up but I'd have to get rid of my chunky pine chest of draws to fit them in my craft room and I can't bring myself to part with it

Great pics, and you did a great job putting that up all by yourself! :)

I hope your visit was ok, life gets hard sometimes when we have to understand our relatives need a little more help than we can give, but these things have a habit of working out ok and settling down.

take care

Claire, I'm really sorry to hear about your nan. It's so difficult watching our loved ones go through this process. Both of my grandmothers are dealing with dementia, and it's so difficult to see. Very sad.

Anyway, on to happier things! I LOVE your craft room!!! It's HUGE!!! I don't even have a table to work on, LOL so I'm very envious!! YOu are so lucky to have such an inspirational place to be creative. YOur new drawers are awesome and look like you can store of a ton of stuff in them!! Thanks for sharing your room with us!! It's great!!

Hugs!!
