Morning everyone, today we see a new challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog and its my turn to set the theme. I know we all love our Die Cut Machines so this weeks theme is
"Die Cut Crazy".

My stamp is from Sugar Nellie. I've had him for ages but never inked him till now (that also goes for the other handfuls still in there wrapper). Coloured with Aquamarkers on Watercolour Paper. Emma is also offering a 10% discount to all customers till 8am on Monday 28th March,
Heres is the code - MARCHSALE
I have used my Nesties to cut the image and the leaves where cut on my MM Slice.

Hope you can play along with my challenge this week and I do try and get to visit as many of your entries as possible. I can often spend hours blog hopping when I should be making a card but I get 'caught in the moment" so to speak.

Hello everyone, firstly I would like to thankyou for all the lovely comments on my Canvas in the post below. Wow, so many and I think thats what keeps me motivated most of the time!
What gorgeous weather we are having in the South East of England so I had to reflect and go all Spring Like with my card. Today we see a new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog and this weeks themes called "Punch It". I have used 5 different punches on my card. 1 x SU, 1 MS Border Punch, 2 MS Punches and the swirl (don't know brand).
The stamp "Little Ballerina" from LOTV has been coloured with Copics, Pencils and Sansador. I've added lots of Pearls, Stickles and my gorgeous Daisy D Faux Stitching Tape Pen. Have dotted over the Butterflies with a White Souffle Pen. The papers are "Prima Annalee" and the Yellow Flowers are also Prima.

No major plans for me today, maybe a bit of blog hopping while the kids are at school.
Had to go to the dentist Tuesday for an extraction. Didn't go to well as the anaesthetic didn't work and the bit of tooth he did remove had me screaming the place down, so looks like a referral to the hospital which will take months. We had to get Jessica's Toes done privately as the waiting list on the NHS was so long but I refuse to keep putting my hand in my pocket so will sit and wait for the NHS, but it looks like it wont be till the end of the year!! (RANT OVER).

Enjoy your day whatever your up to and hope all those going/gone to any Craft Shows have a brilliant time.

CES DT & Challenges!

So nice to have my laptop back, was a bit lost without it. But it gave me time to craft and this week over at the CES Challenge Blog we have a new theme, "Favourite or Inspired By a Song". I decided to have a little play. Amazing what you find when having a sort out and been a while since I Altered a Canvas. The image is of course from Sugar Nellie. She has been coloured with Copics and Prisma Pencils. I coloured the Canvas with Various Distress Ink Pads and Glimmer Mists. The Die has been cut on my MM Slice. The Flower Die is Kraft Paper but I went over with an Ink Pad, Glimmer Mists and my favourite Gold Adirondaak Dabber.
The flowers are an assortment from Wild Orchid and Crafty Emma's Store, along with the Hat pins and Charms. Scrabble Tiles are Papermania.  I've edged the Canvas with the Gold Dabber and spritzed the flowers though it doesn't show in the piccie.

The rest of the DT have as usual made wonderful examples for your inspiration. We would love it for you to join in with this weeks challenge and we always try to leave at least 1 or 2 comments.

Alot of blogs to catch up with over the weekend I think. Jessica had 2 ingrowing toenails removed a few days ago. Watched it all and have to say she was very brave, think the injections were the worst part. So she's all bandaged up and walking like a penguin. She also bought home one of those Cyber Babies from school. Named it Alfie. He is actually a pretty good baby and doesn't cry too much though I will give her all the advice she wants if it means I actually get to sleep over the weekend. As much as I love babies, its nice now mine are all finally growing up.
Anyway, enjoy your weekend and let me know what you think of my Canvas. It looks so much better IRL.

Blogging Friend Kristel has a Birthday Candy on her blog.

CES Challenge DT Card & other challenges...

Hello everyone, back again today with a new card for this weeks CES Challenge Blog. This weeks theme is :: and I think this image is just perfect. She's called Carmen Electrifing from Kenny K. She's a digi download and the first chance I've had to colour her. All I can say is wish I had a body like that!!! The backing paper is a bit of scrap. I think its MME. I found so many bits when having my sort out and put them all into a draw, so thought I'd put them to good use. I have way too much unused stashed but I try and avoid cutting into papers I like, how sad is that LOL. My teams have some wonderful samples and we would love it if you joined in with this weeks challenge. Think were all afraid of mens cards but this one was alotta fun. She's been coloured with Copics and Promarkers and backed onto a 6 x 6 card, both available from Crafty Emma's Store, where you will also find new stock and a great service. I chose to keep it simple and as I'm not sure what this card is going to be used for, I've decided I'll add a sentiment at a later date.

Had a last minute dentist appointment Friday as was in alot of pain. Am now on a course of antibiotics then back again in a week or so for an extraction. Computer still being a pain but I'm still smiling and looking forward to hopefully a quiet weekend.

This weeks prize is
Paws Fur a Moment from

My Craft Area with new unit

Just a quickie before the school run. Here are some photo's of my craft space. The 60 draw unit on the left of the photo above is my new purchase and I Love It.
Took me 7 hours to put up myself (I don't do flat packs) but its standing and is such a great space saver.

These are a few other shots of my craft area. I have one side of the integral garage and although a lot of my stash is still in my dining room, this is the area I have been concentrating on.

I have been quite ruthless and got rid of a lot of stash, some going back years (including kanban) - eek.
Could have put some on E bay but I donated it to my daughters Junior School and I know there will be more to follow.

I love my new unit and it now homes my BigShot and MM Slice

Not enough hours in the day, I've still got a DT card to get done for tonight but am off to see my Grandad after school. My nan is still in hospital after 3 weeks and it looks like she will end up in a home in the near future.
Must dash, will try and catch up with some blogs tonight, I'm so behind!!

I've a busy weekend by the looks of it. A few packages will hopefully arrive today, although I was expecting them yesterday so hubby wouldn't see them and my 60 Draw Storage Unit from Crafts 4 Storage should be here today as well. Out of all the days of the week they had to go and choose today. He doesn't know yet and I don't think I can sneak that in seeings as he's gonna have to put it together. So looks like next week I'm in my craftroom having a major sort out. Its years overdue and I hate to think just how much unused stash I have. Gonna be ruthless though as some goes back years.
So enjoy the weekend, hope it stays dry for you.
I have candy at the top of my page if you'd like to enter.

Thanks for stopping by today and I appreciate all your lovely comments as always

LOTV DT Card & Challenges.....

Hello crafters, cant believe its thursday again. These weeks seem to have flown by and hopefully spring is just round the corner. Thankyou to everyone who entered last weeks LOTV Challenge, so many beautiful entries. This week we have a lovely sketch for you to follow from Bev. I have for once rotated the sketch, something I rarely do. The image is another of the new releases next week called "Blowing Bubbles". I have coloured with Copics, adding Stickles to the flowers and a couple of MS Punched Butterflies then dotted over with a White Souffle Pen. The papers are MME Stella Rose "Hazel", Flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid and various Punched Leaves, finishing with a Strip of Pink Ribbon, a Pink Bow and Pearls. I have used the Scallop Grand Nesties for the background. I didn't need the full circle so what I cut off, I have added to the underneath to give a double layer then edged with a Black Chalk Ink pad. Pink and Grey really is one of my favourite colour combo's. I think the elephant made the decision for me on this card.
