Fridays Sketchers & Other Challenges

OMG, I cant believe I actually made a card just for the sake of it opposed to DT work.  Friday Sketchers is one challenge I have not entered for ages but I couldn't resist this weeks sketch and as you can see, I have made a card. I just had to use a few bits on this that I purchased at the Make It Show the other day. They were an MS Punch, Hobby House Pearls and GCD Studio Paper Pad.
Of course my image is LOTV. I know, new releases any time now but we cant forget the old and  "Feather Boa" is one of my favourites. She's been coloured with Promarkers and Derwent ColourSoft pencils, a White Souffle Pen and Crystal Stickles. Again had to use my "Field of Sky" stamp around the image and dotted over with a pink Viva Pearl Pen. The backing paper has been randomly stamp around the edges with a butterfly stamp from Tim Holtz. I just love this vintage stamp.
Anyway, enough waffling. Here are the challenges I am entering my card into and if theres time I'm gonna try and get threw more of my new stash!!

Paper Pretties - Glittery
I Did it Creations - Punches or Dies
Craft Your Passion - Girly Girl
Sentimental Sundays - Anything Goes
Party Time Tuesday - Anything Goes
Dream Valley - Anything Goes
Cutie Sunday - Favourite Stamp
Oh La La - Pink, Pink & More Pink
Crafty Catz - Friendship
PaperPlay - Lets get Sentimental

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by my blog today.
I'm off to Pizza Hut with the kids.
Remember candy posted at the top if any of you would like to enter!!

Hello everyone, cant believe its thursday again. Always have the best of intentions to craft and catch up with peeps blogs but 24hr never seems enough anymore, and I don't even work ROFL. So today over at the LOTV we have a new challenge for you. Nice and easy this week, we would like to see your "favourite colours". Well I do love a pink card and here it is. CES DT Card & Challenges

Hello everyone, another saturday and a little warmer. Today we have a new challenge for you over at the CES Challenge Blog. Kaylou has set the challenge and she has gone with the theme Cute & Cuddly. I don't usually do mens cards, find them really hard as I love my embellishments but been wanting to colour my Popcorn Bear from Crafters Companion for ages now and this fitted in perfectly with this weeks theme. Its not my favourite card but I'm not a bear person so something different. I've taken a few photo's as the light is really bad atm and I hate posting rubbish shots. Role on spring!!!!
I have coloured him with Copics and Prisma Pencils. The papers are HOTP - School and the Ribbon are both available from Crafty Emma's Store. She has had lots of new goodies added and loads of scrummy papers so pop on over and take a look for yourself.

Here are a few challenges that my card fits into;

Totally Papercrafts - Clean & Simple
Crafty Creations - Three Little Words
Scrap Creations - Animal Antics

I'll be back later today with my Sweet Stampin DT Card. Couldn't get it to upload all the piccies in one go, so I'll add this later today as need to take Zoe for her swimming lesson shortly.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog and all the lovely comments about my blue hair in the card below. Made and nice change to try something different, maybe I'll try this again soon. After all there are no rules and each to there own aye!!

LOTV DT Card & Challenges!!!!

(click on photo to get a bigger picture and more detail of the distressing)

This week over at the LOTV Challenge blog, Dawny has come up with a fab sketch and I have to say I really like this one. I have used Dandilion Clock and coloured her with Copics. Not done "blue" hair before and not my usual colour combo but pretty pleased with how she looks. Papers are BG Lime Rickey and have used Flowers and MS Butterflies to blend with the chosen colours on my stamp. Sentiment is WOJ, punched with EK Success and a strip of Ribbon behind. Now if you look closely at the papers I have sanded them down with the new "Heart Attack Distressing Tool" from WRE. Omg, I just love this little gadget, literally sands the paper but also has a blade of you want to do a bit of roughing up on he edges. Just love it!!!
This weeks prize is from The Ribbon Girl and as usual the rest of my teamies have made the most beautiful cards. If you like sketches then I think you'll enjoy this one.

Heres my list of challenges;
Catch the Bug -Anything Goes
Stampin with the Dragon - Anything Goes
Pear Tree Designs - Free for All

And back on Saturday with more........
Enjoy the rest of your week and thanks for stopping by my blog today.

Thankyou to all who took part last week, I thoroughly enjoyed looking at as many as I could. Today over at the CES Challenge, Julie has set the challenge "Red & Romance". Tilda has been coloured with Copics onto watercolour paper and I really like using this, will try again. Birds are a new McGill punch I purchased yesterday and the Doily and Pins are from Crafty Emma's Store. (Lots of new stock being added).
