LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Hello again and thanks for stopping by my blog. Today we see a new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog. Cant believe we are now up to challenge 103 and this weeks theme is "Celebration". Now I have to admit I think my mojo is buried in the rubble right now as I struggled to get going. Maybe I should stick to cute cards but was trying to think outside the box though I think it should have stayed in it LOL.

The Birdcage is Paperartsy and the background behind and the sentiment are both LOTV which you can purchase HERE.

BG, Sweet Thread Papers, Dies, Punches, Stickles, alot of Gold Viva Pearl Pen and my trusty ole' Adirondaak Gold Paint Dabber added.

So thats todays offerings and a few challenges my card fits into. Oh and its C6 again. Square works for me better I think.

CES DT Card & Challenges!

Hello everyone, another miserable day weather wise but a new challenge for you over at the

CES Challenge Blog so something to smile about. Thankyou to all who entered my challenge last week, gorgeous cards and I enjoyed looking at them even if I didn't have time to comment on all. This weeks theme has been set by team Sheena and she has chosen "Anything but Square" (a shaped card). Didn't read this bit and not sure if rectangle is classed as a shape but too late now LOL.

Now I must admit to not having alot of free time these last few days so I have used a Wild Card from October Afternoon but decide it looked a little bland so coloured with Copics/Promarkers and a Clear Gloss Glaze. The papers are WOJ available from Crafty Emma's Store along with the Miniature Carnations, Button and Fibre and Cherry Blossom Flowers. The border punch is EK Success and have also used Stickles, Paper Doily, adirondaak Gold Paint Dabber and Viva Pearl Pens. Distressed paper with MME Distreser and Chalk Ink Pad.

The gardeners have finished my new Deck area so I went out yesterday and added a bit of colour. I will add a piccie as soon as the suns shines.

A Bit of Garden....

Some have been asking how our new garden is going. Slow is the word and behind schedule but at least they have finished my new deck so I have somewhere to sit when the sun is shining!

As you can see the rest is work in progress and have to say after 4 weeks fed up with looking at it. Hopefully completed in 2 weeks so will be back with nice piccies, fingers crossed.

Sorry been so quiet this week. What with the garden, kids, and sorting Jessica's bits out. She's off to Milawi in Africa in a few weeks for a month and have lots of last minute prep to do and getting her Prom Dress sorted.

Will be back tomorrow with a card and will try and catch up with some blogs when I can.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Hello again everyone. Its officially summer here in the UK but I think they've got it wrong. Even got my winter coat out to walk the dog last night as there was a definite chill in the air.

Anyway back to this weeks new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog. Donalda has a fantsic sketch and heres my interpretation. The papers are from the new BG "Out of Print". I am in love with this paper pad and will be ordering more soon. For a change I have coloured the stamp "Daisy Chain" from the latest realises with Promarkers, adding Stickles to the flowers and edging with Derwent Coloursoft Pencil and Sansador. Wild Orchid Flowers, Bazzill, Gold Viva Pearl Pen and Punches Leaves also added. The sentiment is of course also LOTV.

Cant wait to see what you do with this weeks sketch and there is certainly a lot more inspiration to be had from my teams over at the LOTV Challenge Blog.

Our garden is slowly making progress. The new deck area is almost finished but about a week behind due to the amount of bad weather we have had. Decided not to dwell on it anymore. It will all come together eventually, though I was hoping it to be completed by the end of the month. Good things come to those who wait. Well gotta think positive or else I'll cry lol

CES DT Card & Challenges!

Yay, its the weekend and today we see a new challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog.

I'm playing host this week and have chosen a nice easy theme.

Seeing as summer is here or Maybe not quite yet here in the UK

I would like to see "Lots of Sparkly Flowers" on your card/project.

Now I couldn't resist this gorgeous stamp, Love Grows from of course my favourite LOTV. Coloured with Copics and Masses of Sparkling Flowers. I don't think there are many cards I do that haven't been stickled!

LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Hello again, the weeks just seem to be flying by and today we see a new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog.

I've not coloured this stamp before but really enjoyed it. Rod Stewarts "We Are Sailing" came straight to mind. I coloured with Copics a few weeks back so don't have the colours. The sentiment and Music Background Stamp are also LOTV.

CES DT Card & Challenges!

Its saturday, time for a new CES Challenge and this weeks theme has been chosen by team Carrie who would like to see "Your Favourite Movies". The winner will receive a £10 Voucher to be spent at Crafty Emma's Store.

Now I do have a big collection of Magnolia stamps but rarely seem to ink them up. Very nawty of me really. I know she's called Tilda, but today we can pretend this is her twin or a distant relative LOL.

Papers are a mix of Fancy Pants & Hot off the Press. LOTV Background stamp, punched leaves, Stickles, Lace, Bazzill and Die Cut Swirl. Copics and other colouring materials listed at bottom of post.

What happened To My garden???

Sorry, off topic I know. I've hijacked my own blog LOL. But thought I'd post a few piccies of my garden as it is at the moment. We are having it landscaped and they think it will take about 4 weeks to complete. Gonna be worth all the hassle. I'm sure and cant wait!

So its a right old mess right now and having having to walk the dog several times a day as he's go straight into the field without the fence being there. Crafting times a bit limited as I've workmen in and out and my kettle is on overtime LOL but am working on a card and hoping to get some crafting or blog hopping done this evening.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges! - Its a sneak peak to.....

Morning all, so nice to be back crafting and what better way than with a sneak peak from the new Girl Images due to be released on the 14th June! Today we have a new challenge for you over at the LOTV Challenge blog and this weeks theme is "Anything Goes". Think its going to be a busy one and expecting lots of entries. But please remember you must use LOTV to be eligible for the prize.

For my card, I have used the new "Me & My Dog". Coloured with Copics (listed at bottom of post) then gone around the edge with a blue Prisma Pencil and Sansador. Banner Die is Whimsey, Wild Orchid Flowers, MS Butterfly, MS Deep Border Punch, Lace, Punched Leaves, K & Co Papers and Stickers from stash.

All 16 new stamps are just adorable and talk about cute. Heres the link to the LOTV Shop, think you may need it next week and think another sellout is on the cards.
