LOTV DT Card & Challenges

Hello everyone, cant believe its been a week since I lasted blogged a card. Thats families for you. Today at the LOTV Challenge we have another fab sketch for you to use. I have coloured

this cute image called "Mirror, Mirror" with Copic markers, Liquid Pearls, Stickles and a Transparant Viva Pen. The papers are a mix of Magnolia & Bayberry Cottage. I've edges these with a darker blue chalk ink pad. Swirl is Sizzix and a mix of flowers. I've edged the leaves with a Silver Glitter Liner from Viva Pens (I get mine from Quoxotic Paperie), just love the colours and the way they hold their shape.

Hope you can join in with this fortnightly challenge. We had well over 100 entries on the last challenge and I do try and get to as many as you as possible.

Zoe broke up yesterday, Daniel brakes up today. I've the sports day to go to and although they don't officially break up till Friday, they are letting the boarders home a day early. Means a nice 3hrs driving. Then Jessica breaks up on Friday, on her 15th Birthday, so apologies if I'm s bit quiet, a lot going on atm but will try and make a bit of "me time" every day.

LOTV New Christmas Releases Out Now!!!

Isn't this just a gorgeous stamp. Its called Star Of Wonder as is one of the many new Christmas Releases out today. These are going to be a great hit I'm sure and was in my element this morning colouring this image.

I have used BG Wassail Papers. Coloured with Copic Markers, New Viva Pearl pens and Stickles. The sentiment is from Crafty Individuals, also stamps on BG paper. Used my Gingerbread MS Punch for the first time and the other bits are from my stash.

LOTV DT Card (its a sneak peek) & Challenges!

Today we start a new challenge over at the Lili of The Valley Challenge Blog. We have another fab sketch for you to play with and the added option of Something Girlie.

Not seen this image before? Yep, LOTV have a new launch coming out next week (14th July)and us lucky girls have had the privilege to play with the new images. We are also giving the winner of this challenge 2 of the new stamps!

This is called "Christmas Candle" and I have coloured her with Copics, Black Glaze Pen and tons of Stickles. Papers are a mix of Imaginisec and Forever Friends.

My Annual Request - A Card for Daniel!

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MY LATEST POSTS, THIS IS PINNED HERE!

I sort of feel guilty asking again. Its either the 3rd or 4th year I've made this request and you are always so generous which is why I'm hoping you don't mind me asking again.

Daniel turns 13 years old on the 7th November and as many of you know he is on the Autistic Spectrum suffering from Aspbergers Syndrome. Basically its the inability to socialise or interact socially with others. Last year he starts Senior school and now attends A Special Needs school quite a journey from here and has to board weekdays. Well this term he has not settled in at all. Infact he is at his lowest ever at the moment and I hate seeing my boy so sad. As a mum you just wanna give them a big cuddle when their down but its just not possible during the week and I feel pretty awful.

Anyway, it would mean a great deal to me if a few peeps could kindly send Daniel a Birthday Card. This is a request I have put out over the last few years and you're kindness is tenfold. He doesn't have parties so I like to give him something special and I know he LOVES opening all the gorgeous cards/creations and takes the time to look at them individually, studying each one and picking out details.

He's very much into computers and gaming but loves dinosaurs, robots etc. Spongebob & Pokemon are a firm favourite (I'm always asked his interests).
