Christmas Kitties!!

(Click photo for a clearer picture)
Hello again, managed to find the time to make another card and I think this image is so cute. Its another from MagicMoonlight. I've made a 5 x 5 for a change and rather pleased how its turned out as I was just doing my own thing. The backing paper is the MME Signature Christmas Pad. I've added lots of Stickles, distressed the papers with the MM Distressing Tool and glossed the leaves on the holly. Again used my MM Slice to cut out the dotty paper. Think the "Merry Christmas" sentiment is Magnolia and the Christmas Circle Stamp is Inkadinado. I've had this set for many years and it always comes out for my crimbo cards.

Heres a list of challenges;
Lollipop Crafts - Welcome Winter
City Crafter - Let It Snow
ASFOS - Christmas Cards
PaperPlaytime - Snowflakes (backing paper)
Crazy Challenge - All I Want for Xmas is You
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp & Show - Holiday Greetings
Pear Tree Designs - Winter Wonderland
Cutie Sunday - Red/Green
PaperCutz - 2 Patterened Papers, Any Colour
All That Scraps - Snowflakes (backing paper)
Stampavie - Snowflakes/Snow

I've so much to do over the next few days. Today I've got to make a start on packing. Bikini's and sunscreen don't feel right with the weather were having but I'm sure once I get going, holiday mode will kick in. A few more DT cards to make too, eek- feeling the pressure now!
Hope everyone's well and hope to get another card or 2 posted before I go away.

Finally a Card!!

Finally a card from me. We've about 6 inches of snow. The kids are off though we are still have issues with Daniels school and he is off as we've chose to take him out for the moment till they sort out their teaching methods. Hubby at home and an internet connection when my laptop chooses!!!
Anyway, a christmas card using my MM Slice. Bought the magnetic pad with I just love. I'd already stamped Tilda and coloured her with Promarkers but it looked bare so using my slice helped fill in the gaps. I don't know what the corner stamps are but I stickled all the berries. Made the bow using the "Bow Easy" and a White Sakura Pen dotted over the Letters.
Not long now till my holiday and what with the weather, packing to do, kids at home and my internet playing up I'm not sure how often I'm going to be able to craft now. I'll be back tomorrow with my LOTV Dt Card and will craft and blog hop when I can.
Well I hope your enjoying the snow. Looks like we could be in for a night of it here in the SouthEast. I could sit at the window all night just watching it!!!

Heres a list of challenges and fingers crossed back tomorrow with another card;

Paper Sundaes - Adorn Those Corners
ABC Christmas Challenge - Yuletide ((red/green & holly and berries)
A Crafty Little Place - Anything Goes
Tip Top Tuesday - Anything Goes
Ladybugs Crafts Ink - Colour Wheel (red/green)
Die Cut Dreams Xmas - Use a Die Cut
Ellephantastic - Red/Green
Digi Doodles - Red/Green

Bye for now and thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Massive Birthday Thanks from Daniel!!

Wow, thankyou all for the gorgeous cards and gifts Daniel received for his birthday. Your generosity was overwhelming and I have to say Daniel totally loved opening all the cards and each one was given his undivided attention. He loves his ipad although he's not aloud to take it to boarding school and we had a lovely weekend away with relatives.

Daniel has taken all the cards into school with him today to put in his bedroom as they weren't going to be seen left here so I have been unable to take a display photo of them all. When he brings them back I will take photo's and a full list of thanks. More cards have arrived in the post (sharon caudal & rosie) today but he wont get these till friday now. You really did help to put a smile on his face and we are both very grateful.
Thanks to all who helped celebrate Daniels birthday and all the birthday wishes he's received.

Big Hugs
Claire & Daniel

CES DT Piece & Challenges

Yay, its the weekend and a brand new challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog. This weeks them is "Forever Autumn". I chose to make a notebook this week. My mojo's not in full swing atm but hoping things will be a little less hectic next week and hopefully back to normal.
The papers I have used are Papermania. Image is a wooden backed stamp made from my local craft shop which has now closed down. She has been coloured with Aquamarkers which are available over at Crafty Emma's Store.
My DT buddies have made gorgeous cards, they're a talented bunch.

I'm away again this weekend. THANKYOU to all that have sent Daniel birthday cards. He is in for a real treat on Sunday and its going to take a long time to open them all. I will post thanks and names just so you know yours has been received. It means so much to know that there are people out there who do care. Autism is a horrible condition to live with and unfortunately as a parent we don't get manuals. If I could get into his head and understood how he see's things it would be so much easier. I admire any person/parent or carer who is associated with Autism.
Daniels still a little unsettled at school. They are being very patient and he is trying. Hopefully he will settle back into routine soon!

Heres a list of challenges;
Digi Doodle - Show Us Your Fall/Autumn Projects
Oldie But a Goodie - Distressing (Stamps is years old)
Lots to do - Autumnal Colours

Well, were off shortly so I will be back in blogland Monday. Dentist Tuesday and the start of my treatment. Route Canal for the first visit - lovely!!!! NOT

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy any firework displays you maybe going to. Were off to Battle for one Saturday night, then Ten Pin Bowling and A Pizza/Pasta Restaurant for Daniels Birthday.

LOTV Goes All Girly & Challenges

This week has really flown past and today we see a new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog.
This weeks theme is One for the Girls, my kinda card!!!
For my card I have used "Feather Boa" from the Party Girl range. For all you lucky enough to get to the NEC, I would highly recommend this one, a pleasure to colour.
She's been coloured with Promarkers and I've added Crystal Stickles down the centre of her Boa. Chequered paper is again Jack & Jill and the other is a piece of scrap. Used the Field of Sky Background Stamp and again added dots of Stickles & Perfect Pearls. MS Butterflies dotted with White Inkssential Pen, a mix of Flowers and Ribbon from stash.
Lots of Sparkle on this one, but when don't I add a touch of Stickles.

To everyone going to the NEC This weekend, have fun. I can never seem to get there as it always falls over Daniels Birthday but one day it will happen. Drooling over all that rubber, not fair lol.

Heres a list of challenges this card fits into;

Flutter By Wednesdays - Open Challenge
Anything Goes Challenge Blog - Letter B (for Boa)
Creative Inspirations - Glitter, Glamour, Girlie
Scrap Creations - Favourite Technique (colouring and blending)
ASFOS - Relish to Embellish
Incy Wincy Designs - Anything Goes
Creative Stamp Friends - Favourite Stamp (background stamp, used a lot over the years)
ABC - G for Glitter

Apologies for my lack of visits and posts. Seems with the kids off and being away last weekend its all catching up and my computer/craft time is very limited.
Away again this weekend so hopefully all back to normal next week. No celebrations, No Birthdays and hopefully not a lot of housework

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and I do appreciate all the lovely emails I have received about Daniel. I do hope I've not missed anyone out and replied to you all.

Enjoy the rest of your week
Happy Crafting

Sweet Stampin DT Card

Yays its saturday and this is preposted as were away in Alton Towers with my hubbys brother and his family so wont be around this weekend. 6 kids and I think rain, but I'm sure we'll be enjoying ourselves.
This week over at the Sweet Stampin Challenge, its "Team Carrie's" turn and we have a fantastic sketch for you to play with. I have used one of the new Tilda's and coloured her with Pencils and Sansador. The backing paper is a new Mangolia one to and it was pure coincidence that these matched as I'd already coloured the image. Die cut with my Nellie Snellie Oval and added a Rose Viva Pearl Pens all around. Bazzill cardstock and the large MS Border Punch (forgotten its name now) behind the image and the MS Heart Border Punch for the Edges. Assorted flowers, all stickled, Pearl Gems, Pearl Bead Spray and a Sentiment. I've also stickler around the edges of the paper as I do like a bit of sparkle.

A slight challenge rule change. Please only enter a maximum of 2 entries from now on please.
I will be back in blogland Monday. All the kids back in school and hopefully a day to catch up.

Thats it for now.
Thankyou so much for stopping by my blog today and all the wonderful comments I've received on my last card. I love reading them all and just the boost I need when I've got brain freeze!
The rest of my teams have made beautiful cards to. I know they'd appreciate you taking a look.
