CES DT Card & Challenges!

Hello everyone, finally the weekend and I see its getting a little lighter. Means I dont have to walk the dog so early in the evenings. Thanks to everyone who took part in out last CES Challenge, loved looking at your gorgeous creations. This weeks theme over at the CES Challenge Blog is

"CHECK IT OUT".

So lets see those plaid or gingham papers on your cards/projects.

Now my card turned out nothing how I planned and I am so happy with the final result. I'm not one for skeches and like to see how things lay on the card. This has to be one of my favourite stamps "Fairies On Tiptoe" from LOTV. The cardstock is Kraft.The dotty paper is a piece of scrap and the gingham is Craft Creation. Used the gorgeous wide MS Border Punch an edged all papers with a Brown Chalk Ink Pad. This is my third attempt colouring on Kraft. The first was just pencils, 2nd copics and this has been done with pencils blended with Sansador, defo my favourite so far. Lace, Viva Pearl Pen, Cheesecloth, Stickles, Gold Ink dabber, Copper Glimmer Mist, Gingham Bow, MS Butterfly Punches, lots of flowers and dies including my new TH Clock die.

I have for a first also decorated the inside of the card but silly me forgot to photograph it - doh!

Been a buit quiet this week as caught a bug mid week but am all better now and when I find some time am hoping to get this and some of my other cards on Ebay.

Dream Valley DT Card.

Hello again, hope its not too cold or windy where you are. A great excuse to stay indoors and do some crafting, or so I thought. My Zoe woke with a sore throat and headache. Now cant hold down any food or water and has slept on and off most of the day. She also has a temperature of 102, so guess who wont be at school tomorrow and I have to be up at 6am to get Daniel off to school. Think matchstix will be needed tonight -eek.

Between her and the dog, I've had a right old week lol.

Today we see a new challenge over at the Dream Valley Challenge Blog. Our last challenge had over 5oo entries, thankyou so much to those who entered. This fortnights theme is

"Animals".

Now I must confess I'd totally forgotten about these stamps. I have a draw full of them, so thought it was about time I put at least one of them to use. This is "Humphreys Corner Birthday Girl" from Crafters Companion . Her dress has been paper pieced and the rest coloured with Promarkers.

I have so many dies that I just dont use, so got my bigshot out and had a cutting session, then yesterday tidied and resorted my craftroom. A bit more organised, well for the moment anyway.

Do you like my little birdnest?? I was fumbing with a bit if cheesecloth at the time, couldn't decide where to put it and this is what I came up with. Frayed the edges and rubbed over with a chalk ink pad. The papers used are Basic Grey Sweet Thread, other items are Crystal Stickles, Viva Pearl Pen, White Souffle Pen and lots of various flowers, punches and dies.

CES DT Challenge Piece.

Good morning everyone, its finally the weekend and another new challenge over at the CES Challenge blog. Thanks to everyone who played along last week, some fab entries. This weeks challenge is anything but a card. Eek, not often I come out of my comfort zone but I saved this coffee powder tin wondering if I'd ever get round to altering it and hey presto! I've been reading how so many are going to use old stash and unused items. The paper and bazzill are from my scrap draw, so I've made a start. This really was a make it up as you go along jobs but I think its really pretty. Jessica my 16yr old really liked it and she's not into girly things so I've given it to for her nik-naks.

Lilis Little Fairies DT Card!!

Good morning everyone, I've been a nawty blogger this last week and am finally back with a card for this weeks Lili's Little Fairies Challenge. I love this weeks theme "Lavender and Lace". Think these colours are always so pretty on a card, I should make a note to use them more often. I have used tiptoe fairy and again coloured onto kraft, this time with Copics and Promarkers. (I'm experimenting I think). The papers are a mix of Basic Grey Koishi and Wisteria. You cant see the card blank but it is a beautifully embossed pearl and so pretty. Lots of sparkle and punches used and a Cream Viva Pearl Pen on the butterflies along with a piece of lace and the LOTV postcard stamp.

So the reason I've not been in blogland much these last few days. My dog has picked up a parasite and is now on antibiotics, but I've had a few sleepness nights I can tell you. I wish I could have put a nappy on him!! lol. The tablets seem to be working but my sleep pattern is all over the place at the moment, nap during the day then wide awake at 10/11pm. Just a small matter, I have school runs every morning so no lie in for me - shame!!! lol

And I really must tidy my craftroom, (again). All of my 6x6's have fallen of the shelf and are scattered over the floor atm, and everything else is just a mess. Could have sworn I had a good sort out before christmas. lol. Never mind, maybe I'll get to make a sneaky card whilst I'm doing it and I need to make room for new stash on order. Didnt bother to make it a new years resolution as I new it wouldn't last. 2 weeks it pretty good though dont you think - hehe.

I'm having a day indoors so if I stay awake I'm gonna have an hrs "me time" and catch up with your blogs.

Not as easy as its sounds with so many gorgeous stamps available but I've gone with Rosy Posy, one of my old favourites.

For the first time I've tried colouring on kraft. I'm sure theres room for improvement and boy do I love the white pencil. On this occassion I used my Faber Castell Polychromo's. The papers are a very old pad, K & Co Addison. A bit of distressing and lots of embellishments and punches.

First DT Card for Dream Valley!

This is my first posting as a DT Member for the Dream Valley Challenge Blog and I'm so excited. A nice easy them of "Anything Goes" for this fortnightly's challenge. I got out my Macro Lense to take this piccie and with my Photoshop Elements and a new laptop I hope my photo skills have improved. Hard to tell as every screen is different but I'm happy with the results.

The papers are Basic Grey and backed on Bazzill cardstock. A few punched leaves and butterflies, Viva Pearl Pen, lace and flowers from stash.

So if not before I'll be back in a few days with another card!

CES DT Card & Challenges!

Hello again. Its finally the weekend and the CES DT are back after our christmas break with a new Challenge "Anything Goes" chosen by me!

I just love Bildmalarna stamps and have quite a few just never ink them up. Well for this card I did. She's been coloured with Copics and Polycolour pencils. A colour combo I dont usually do but love it! Finally got round to ordering some new cheesecloth to use on my cards. Think will this will be used quite alot.

Lilis Little Fairies DT Piece!!

Happy New Year everyone. I'm back to crafting and this is my first piece not only of the year, but also our first challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies. When the LOTV Challenge shut down, Jacqui couldn't let all you Lilli of the Valley fans down as it was such a popular challenge so today we see our first challenge and this weeks theme is "New Beginnings". I opted to make a calendar to mark the start of the New Year. Didn't over embellish as the colours are so pretty and think they stand out all by themselves. I'm now on my new Windows PC after using a MAC for several years. The screen looks so different and I keep fiddling with my display lol.

Hi everyone. Well I'm getting to grips with my new laptop. Hubby has put the Photoshop Elements 10 trial on for me and has promised to get me the full version in the new year. I would love to make some sketches if I could fathom out how.

Back in the New Year!

Hello everyone, hope you all had a fantastic christmas and Santa was kind to each and everyone of you. Along with perfume and a new dressing gown, hubby bought me a new Windows 7 Laptop as my Mac was getting old but I'm still getting to grips as its so different to use. Am hoping to get Photoshop installed soon to. Taking time out till the new year as its rare for hubby to get a weekend off let alone the whole xmas holidays, so family time atm and when everyones back to work/school then my pens will come out again. Am doing a bit of blog hopping, just an excuse to have a play with my laptop really.

I'm a Lilis Little Fairy!

Firstly apologies for this weird post, different text, sizes, layout and all the added extra, not me. Blogger must be having an off day!

Hello everyone, I'm here with happy news and cant wait to share. I was on the LOTV DT for quite a long time and was so saddened when I heard that the challenge blog would be closing. But good ole' Jacqui came to the rescue and has saved the challenge blog under the new name of "Lilis Little Fairies" and yep, I'm on the DT along with lots of other talented crafters. The challenge blog will be the same as before, just for LOTV products and we start again on the 5th January 2012. In the meantime there are lots of fab goodies up for grabs over at Lilis Little Fairies so pop on over and take a look. Thanks Jacqui and cant wait to work along with my new teamies.

Now sorry for my lack of blogging. Tis the time of year where my hands are busy shopping instead of crafting. Hubbys birthday the other day and last night we went and saw Daniel in his school production of Joseph. Lots of wrapping and the kids all break up today so will cram as much in as I can, although the weather here in Kent is pretty pants even a little snow flurry.

I doubt I'll have anytime to post anything before the new year but am gonna be back with some of my favourites.

CES DT Card & Challenges!

Happy Saturday everyone.Well its the first weekend in December and its not nice out there. Today our christmas tree goes up and we will decorate the outside with lights to. Zoes so looking forward to help me decorating it. I think I'm finally in christmas mode. Presents are building up and am making a very late start on my cards.

This weeks challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog is "Bear Necessities". I just had to use "James Bear" from LOTV, he's one of my favourite crimbo stamps. Coloured with Copics & Flexmarkers, papers are Bo Bunny Father Christmas Collection, distressed with my new Zutter Distrezz It All and for a first have backed with Kraft instead of Bazzill. The tiles are the Papermania S/A Wooden Tiles that must be discontinued as I can find them anywhere. Think I'm going to cry when I run out of letters. If any of you stamp companys want to manufacture something similar, I will be your first customer and buy in bulk!!!

Morning Peeps, very wet here today. Well its finally December and I dont know about you but a surge of panic has come over me. Thankfully I've done alot of christmas shopping on the internet but I should pull my finger out and get to the shops.

CES DT Card & Challenges!

Its finally the weekend and today we see a new challenge at the CES Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge is "Special Milestone Birthdays". Now I dont usually do digi's, papers or otherwise but fancied doing something different so my card is a digi image called Faery Emma from The Paper Shelter along with the pink backing paper. The green paper is from an old disk at Bearly Mine Designs.

Today is my nieces 16th birthday, so Happy Birthday Cheyenne. This will have to be posted today as I couldnt find my camera lead yesterday - oops! Lots of pretty embellishments, dies and flowers on this card, some available from Crafty Emma's Store, so pop on over and grab a bargain or two.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges.

Its Thursday and that of course can only mean a new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge blog. This week we would like to see a Christmas Card for Someone Special.

If I'm honest I'm not happy with this card, maybe because I didnt get to do any colouring. I was feeling a bit off colour yesterday, and today have woke full of cold (sneezing while I type - eek). My mojo was not on form but had just recieved some new LOTV Die Cuts and was the perfect excuse to use one.The paper are DCWV Christmas Stack. I've added lots of Stickles, Pearls and a Viva Pearl Pen. The sentiment is computer generated and punched with an EK Success Ticket Punch.

In the meantime I need to get cracking with my Chistmas Cards and a few Family Birthdays. So if hubby moans, I'll threaten to spend all his money in Clintons LOL.
Best stock up on tissues first as I think I'm going to need them today!

CES DT Card - Roses & Ribbons!

Are you counting down the days till christmas? I should be as I,ve only made 1 or 2 cards and am so behind so couldnt resist using this gorgeous new stamp called "Christmas Bears Present" from LOTV to use for our new challenge this week over at the CES Challenge Blog.

CES DT Card & Challenges!

Hello Peeps, its 2 weeks since we last had our last challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog coz good old Emma and Partner Steve have just had a new addition. Welcome into the world Baby Olivia. So pleased for you both. So we move onto a new challenge from the lovely Caroline and she has chosen "Entertain Us" can be either Film or Song Inspired. I've gone with the Song "Your The Best" originally by Joe Esposito but I so prefer Smithys version he sang for Comic relief.

Just Saying Hello.....

Sorry I've not been around in blogland much this last week. I've had the dreaded lurgy, (or manflu if I where a guy - hehe) caught from my girls of course but can you believe both my hubby and son escaped it. Just shows who's nursemaid in my house. Me and the sofa spent 4 days became fully acquainted and the best of friends lol.

I've a ton of christmas cards to be getting on with, the clocks ticking and not in my favour.

Done you christmas shopping? I've made a start but end up with my own bit of retail therapy, so much fun!!!

Gonna have a hop tonight, then hope to get some images coloured tomorrow and crack on.

LOTV DT - Bingo!!!!!

The weeks are flying by and its getting too dark for my liking. So what better way to spend than another evening huddled amongst my crafty stash. So heres a card for this weeks challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog. Its "Team A" and eyes down for this week s "BINGO" challenge.

I have used one of my favourite lotv stamps Fairies on Tiptoe. Shes been coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, then added Stickles to her wings and flowers. Again I've used the Fine Promarker Nibs, I'm so lovin these, gives that attention to detail with ease. I know, a bit of bleeding. This was already stamped so I dont know the cardstock but pretend its not there please. The paper is from the Prima Melody Pad, LOTV Sentiment, Assorted Flowers, Ribbon, Gems, Various Dies and lots of Pearls with Viva Pearl Pens. I've used a bandage again (lace sub, well looks lacey to me, think I got away with it - hehe).

Hoping my mojo is on the up and nawty me had to order some new stash to give me a boost so more stamps waiting to be inked (bet I dont)...

CES DT - Sugar Nellie Bookmark....

Hello all, managed to get back into my craftroom all set to make a card and I end up with a bookmark hehe... Sorry, its not the best of piccies.

Today we see a new challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog and this weeks theme is "Forever Autumn".

Dont use these colours much but love the combination. I have used a Sugar Nellie Stamp that I've had for years and love her (but dont know her name). Had a few packs of Promarker Fine Nibs sitting here for ages but yet to try and Wow, they are fantastic. What a transformation. Love them!! Used 3 shades of Orange Promarkers and them used the Pro Nib with the Chestnut Promarker to go over the linage. Also tried the new Flexmarkers just for the skin. Jury still out on this one. They are very pale and not a great selection of colours right now. I'm not overexcited about the nib either and feel the pen is quite chunky to hold. Personal opinion but I know I'll still get the new sets when they are released.

Anyway, heres my bookmark. Promarkers and Nibs both available from Crafty Emma's Store and an additional 20% discount for most stock. Other items used, BG scrap paper piece, flowers, glimmer mist, viva gold and orange pens, lace, chalk ink pad, prima flowers, punched leaves & butterfly brad.

As always, gorgeous cards from the rest of my teamies and I enjoyed playing with this colour combo.

Think I'll give the bookmark to my Zoe, always got a book on the go which cant be a bad thing.

CES DT & Challenges!

Morning all. What a change in weather. Looks like the dark nights are looming and Autumn is here to stay.

Today we see a new challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog and this week my teamie Jennifer has chosen the theme "Seeing Red". Well christmas instantly came to mind and found this new uninked stamp which fitted perfectly with their cute santa hats. Its called "Christmas Cuddles" from Wild Rose Studio. The Sentiment is Paula Pascual and the cardstock, St Nick Papers and Promarkers are all available from Crafty Emma's Store. A bit of bling, Silver Viva Peral Pen and Stickles also used. Didnt feel the need to over embellish.

Hello again, its so nice to be posting a card. My blog looked a bit lonely but I hope to be back into the swing of things soon. I've not made a card for so long and when looking for certain things amongst my stash I couldnt remember where I've put them. lol. Think I need to go threw it all again and see whats what. All I know is that I have alot of unused new stash and that was from over a month ago. Darent look whats been added online since....

CES DT Card & Challenges!

Hello again, its saturday and time for a new challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog. This weeks theme is called "Mix & Match". We would like to see different papers from different manufactures. I just adore these new stamps from "Emerald Faeries". I have used my Spectrum Noirs to colour. I do read both good and bad comments about these. I do love the colours but yes they are juicy and will take a bit of getting used to, but on the whole, glad I got them. Will have to have a go at mixing with Copics and Promarkers to see how they blend. And yes I have bandage on my card. A bit of Crepe Bandage purchased from Boots. Gave it a bit of a stretch and frayed the edges. Quite appropriate seeings as my Zoe has her arm in plaster. hehe!!

Sentiment is Whimsey, MS Punches, Distressing, Viva Pearls and a piece of ribbon.

We went back to the hospital yesterday for Zoes broken arm. Consultant at a glance said she would be OK in a padded sling, but noticed some bleeding on the x ray which can indicate another fracture. So theres us all geared up to going away with Zoe in a nice soft sling and worries all over. Came back, takes another look at x ray and says bad news, theres a fracture across her humerus, along with the chip in her elbow so another cast would have to go back on. Luckily they have put on a totally waterproof one and its only for 3 weeks but still got to get threw check- in at Gatwick sunday, as we dont have a proper doctors letter (thats in post) so had to make do with a sick note stating she's safe to fly.

Anyway, thats enough waffle. Just got to speak to airline this morning for confirmation his letter is OK, then off to sunny Zakynthos for 2 weeks (hopefully) So wont be back in blogland now till September.

I hope you al lenjoy the rest of summer and anyone with kids are having the best of times.

Yesterday we bought 2 new additions, Pretzel and Ashley, 2 baby rabbits. I will take a picture to show you, they are so cute... Just leaving them in quiet for a few days while they settle into their new home.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Its not the weather we had yesterday. I sat in the garden and got a bit of colour on me but today is very cloudy and the rain has just started. At least I dont have to water the new lawn.

Today over at the LOTV Challenge Blog we have nice and easy challenge for you."Roses". Bet theres lots of gardens full of them so show them on your cards and pop on over to the LOTV Challenge Blog.

I am the proud owner of all 168 Spectrum Noir Pens and this is my first card I have used the pens to colour. I highly recommend them if you are a Copic/Promarker Lover. Love the nib but can be a bit juicy so when applying be aware when working round the edges, especially with darker colours. I love the added colour chart that can be downloaded and it even states what set the pen is in so no more rummaging threw a box full of pens looking for the colour needed. All my box sets are labelled in colour tones anyway and all the individual 6 packs I have in 2 storage cases (available from Crafters Companion).

Finally, My New Back Garden!!

Well at long last some piccies of the newly landscaped garden. I've shown some pictures of before but obviously it wasnt in that state. We had a large decking the length of the garden and it banked at the bottom so had it all built up, feature steps that overlook the pond, a new deck area, bigger patio and alot more grass. We've still got to get a new Patio Set but for now the trampoline is on the patio till it can go back on the grass in a few week.

I've planted everything myself and am having to spend 2 hours a day watering the grass but worth every minute and today the weather is hot and sunny here!

Hello, I'm back today with this weeks card for a new challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog. This week Sue has chosen the theme "Humour/Funny". If I'm honest it got me stumped. Something I don't make many of, but remembered that I had some stamps from years ago (unused of course) that were humerous and I even remembered the colour box they were in.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Hello again, its thursday and today we see a new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog.

I don't know about you but this last week has flown past. Not Fun and Games at all but it is over at LOTV as that is this weeks challenge.

I have used "Astronaut" and coloured with Copics and Pencils and Sansador. Papers are Bo Bunny Blast Off. Couldn't have been any more perfect! Sentiment LOTV, my favourite Scrabble Tiles, Stickles and a few Punches.

This card was made with both Magnolia Stamp Lovers and Sketch saturday in mind. Its been ages since I used one of my Magnolia and I love "Tilda with Rose".

Before I get onto my card, yesterday Daniel was in a car accident on the way to school in the taxi. He's no injures just a bit shocked. Police were on scene and the car was a bit if a mess. So my mojo was not up to much and late last night I popped in my craftroom and thought I experiment with colouring. I've not done much feathering with Copics but tried it out on her hair and a tinge on her dress. Alot of the shading was done by taking a dark colour off with the nib of the lightest Copic and shading where I wanted. Enjoy this technique and not done that for a while. Now if I had sat down and planned to make this card it would't have worked but I often find doing my own thing unplanned results in a better outcome, funny that.

Zoe had a lovely weekend with 3 of her school friends staying over, a trip to Frankie & Bennys and a lot of noise. Loves her new Ipod, but I don't think I'll be doing a "slumber party" for a few years yet lol

CES DT & Challenges!

Today is challenge "45" over at the CES Challenge Blog, cant believe we've been running for nearly a year now and this weeks theme is "Christmas".

I have used James Bear from LOTV and coloured with Promarkers and Polychromo Pencils with Sansador. The papers are BG Wassail and have all been distressed using my new "Distrezz It All" by Zutter. I just love this little gadget, so easy and so effective. A mix of embellishments, some of which you can buy at Crafty Emma's Store and have you seen the amount of new papers available on pre-order. LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Morning everyone. It feels so good to be blogging a card again. I so want to craft, and have tons of new stash but the garden has been taking up a lot of my time and both of my daughters have birthdays in the next week. If I could shut my craftroom door and switch off for a day I would. But a day of buying presses, cake and shop bought cards - EEK!!

Anyway, its another fab challenge for you over at the LOTV Challenge Blog and this weeks we have a colour combo of Pink/Blue. Because of time I've been nawty and used one of the LOTV Die Cards but they are gorgeous anyway and served its purpose. I've added lots of embellishments and sparkle on this. Jessica went off to Milawi on Sunday for the month. She will be celebrating her 16th birthday out there but no contact so cant even text her. Zoes 9 on friday and were off to the circus!

The garden is finally getting there. Completed my steps and new back fence. Decking done and started laying the main patio yesterday. As long as it stays dry hopefully be finished by the end of next week.

CES DT Card & Challenges!

Hello everyone. So my mojo wasn't far away. Infact it wasn't lost at all, just strayed a little I think. So back in my comfort zone and thats cute. For this weeks new CES Challenge the lovely Shell would like to see "Woodland Creatures" on your cards/projects. Couldn't think of a stamp suitable at first but after a good old rummage and finding 3 totes full of stamps that I had forgot about I came across my Motivet Stamps. This is "Doraline with Ladybug". I just love these cuties and always a joy to colour. Have used Promarkers and Polychromo Pencils with Sansador on this occasion. Prima Reflection Papers, Daisy and Mini Carnations, Bead Spray and Promarkers all available at Crafty Emma's Store along with the basic Memento Ink Pad and Smooth Card. More new arrivals on pre-order to all which can be seen here.

I'm running low on these scrabble tiles from Papermania. Will have to google later as I love them for a bit if dimension.

Hello again and thanks for stopping by my blog. Today we see a new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog. Cant believe we are now up to challenge 103 and this weeks theme is "Celebration". Now I have to admit I think my mojo is buried in the rubble right now as I struggled to get going. Maybe I should stick to cute cards but was trying to think outside the box though I think it should have stayed in it LOL.

CES DT Card & Challenges!

Hello everyone, another miserable day weather wise but a new challenge for you over at the

CES Challenge Blog so something to smile about. Thankyou to all who entered my challenge last week, gorgeous cards and I enjoyed looking at them even if I didn't have time to comment on all. This weeks theme has been set by team Sheena and she has chosen "Anything but Square" (a shaped card). Didn't read this bit and not sure if rectangle is classed as a shape but too late now LOL.

Now I must admit to not having alot of free time these last few days so I have used a Wild Card from October Afternoon but decide it looked a little bland so coloured with Copics/Promarkers and a Clear Gloss Glaze. The papers are WOJ available from Crafty Emma's Store along with the Miniature Carnations, Button and Fibre and Cherry Blossom Flowers. The border punch is EK Success and have also used Stickles, Paper Doily, adirondaak Gold Paint Dabber and Viva Pearl Pens. Distressed paper with MME Distreser and Chalk Ink Pad.

The gardeners have finished my new Deck area so I went out yesterday and added a bit of colour. I will add a piccie as soon as the suns shines.

A Bit of Garden....

Some have been asking how our new garden is going. Slow is the word and behind schedule but at least they have finished my new deck so I have somewhere to sit when the sun is shining!

As you can see the rest is work in progress and have to say after 4 weeks fed up with looking at it. Hopefully completed in 2 weeks so will be back with nice piccies, fingers crossed.

Sorry been so quiet this week. What with the garden, kids, and sorting Jessica's bits out. She's off to Milawi in Africa in a few weeks for a month and have lots of last minute prep to do and getting her Prom Dress sorted.

Will be back tomorrow with a card and will try and catch up with some blogs when I can.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Hello again everyone. Its officially summer here in the UK but I think they've got it wrong. Even got my winter coat out to walk the dog last night as there was a definite chill in the air.

Anyway back to this weeks new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog. Donalda has a fantsic sketch and heres my interpretation. The papers are from the new BG "Out of Print". I am in love with this paper pad and will be ordering more soon. For a change I have coloured the stamp "Daisy Chain" from the latest realises with Promarkers, adding Stickles to the flowers and edging with Derwent Coloursoft Pencil and Sansador. Wild Orchid Flowers, Bazzill, Gold Viva Pearl Pen and Punches Leaves also added. The sentiment is of course also LOTV.

Cant wait to see what you do with this weeks sketch and there is certainly a lot more inspiration to be had from my teams over at the LOTV Challenge Blog.

What happened To My garden???

Sorry, off topic I know. I've hijacked my own blog LOL. But thought I'd post a few piccies of my garden as it is at the moment. We are having it landscaped and they think it will take about 4 weeks to complete. Gonna be worth all the hassle. I'm sure and cant wait!

LOTV DT Card & Challenges! - Its a sneak peak to.....

Morning all, so nice to be back crafting and what better way than with a sneak peak from the new Girl Images due to be released on the 14th June! CES DT & Challenges!

Hello everyone, its saturday and we back with a new challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog. Thanks to everyone who took part in last weeks challenge. Pop on over to the challenge blog and see if your the lucky winner or made the Top 3.

This weeks theme is "Embossing".

I have used embossed cardstock and have heated embossing powder over the T/Holtz Butterfly Stamp.

This gorgeous WOJ Stamp has been coloured just in Faber Castell Polychromo Pencils & Sansador.

I treated myself to a new set of 120 Pencils. Still need a bit of practice but made a nice change from Copics and I think you will be seeing more cards coloured with these pencils.

Thankyou to everyone who left me some lovely messages. Yesterday we attended our Nans Funeral and it all went as well as can be expected on these occasions. Now were off for a weeks camping. Lots of packing and sorting to do today, so wont be about next week but you can bet I'll be itching to get back to crafting and catching up with you all.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Hello everyone, today we see a new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog and this weeks theme is "I Believe in Fairies".

I have used Dandelion Clock, she has been coloured with Copics and Prismas. I am where possible, now going to list items used at the bottom of my page.

I attended the LOTV Colour Class on Sunday where I finally got to meet Bev and of course the lovely Jacqui. CES Challenge DT Card & other challenges...

Morning everyone, firstly I would like to thankyou for all the hugs and lovely messages I have received. It is so nice to know I have many caring friends out there and I value every one of you.

Now back to todays card. Its saturday and this means a new challenge over at the

LOTV DT Card & Challenges & Very Sad News - update

Morning again, another week has passed us by and this week we have a new theme over at the LOTV Challenge Blog. Nice and easy and although I cant compare it to the weather at the moment, this weeks theme is "HERE COMES SUMMER".

Well there are so many new paper pads out there and I probably own a large majority of them. This is BG's Hello Luscious. The image is a die cut from the LOTV Shop. I have punched the corners with an X Cut Punch, added Stickles to the image, Liquid Pearls to the mushroom and backed onto Bazzil. Sentiment is also LOTV punched with an EK Success Punch. Dies, Ribbon and Wild Orchid Flowers. Doily and metal Butterfly from stash draw. The gorgeous Marianne Leaf Die has been covered in Tattered Angel Glimmer Mists but not shown up in the piccie. I can blame the weather for that!

On a sadder note, some of you may remember my 97 yr old nan broke her hip back in february. She was in hospital for 3months and recently transferred to a home.
We've had a call this morning to say they don't think she will make it till the end of the day so apologies if I go quiet. Am going to the home some stage today to sit with her as I am the only family member who is close by.

UPDATE - UNFORTUNATELY OUR NAN DIED THIS MORNING.
I never made it to the home, was getting ready when I got the call.
I was really, really close to her and apart from being a bit shaky the news has not sunk in as yet. Not sure what my plans are over the next few days, maybe crafting will help take my mind off things or I may prefer time out.
Whatever, life goes on.

Vintage Style Again!

Hello Everyone, yes I'm smiling. We now have a new router and my computer problems are now fixed. So heres a quick make as I'm ontop of my chores and even spent several hours yesterday blitzing my kitchen and pulling out al the cupboards. It looks like a showroom atm.

Back to my card, just made it up as I went along. Used my new Go Kreate Die to cut the card.

Added lots of embellishments and dies. Loads of Glimmer Mists (though not picked up well on the camera), Lace, WO Flowers, Gold Adirondaak Dabber and of course you can tell the sentiment is the same as my last card. LOTV of course but I just love what it says.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

This was originally posted on Thursday 12th May but due to blogger problems my post disappeared and never came back taking all the lovely comments I received with it. I am keeping this short and sweet due to my own computer problems.

This is my DT card for this weeks LOTV Challenge. The theme being Buttons and Bows.

Sentiment and bow/ribbon stamp are LOTV and lots of pretty embellishments, dies and punches.

I have already linked this card to some challenges but as I cant remember what they all are, I hope I'm being excused for not showing the links in my post again. I honestly cant remember them all and don't have time this evening to go threw my sidebar again. Sorry!

Apologies again for a short post. Were having problems with our router and keep loosing the network. We are waiting for a new one on order. I'm going to try and catch up when and where I can.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Hello everyone, wish there was more hours in the day. Been having trouble finding some craft time. We spent the bank holiday decorating Zoes bedroom and just been manic with the kids at home, but all back at school and no major plans so things may get back on track next week.

Couldn't resist giving you a sneak peak of one of them. This is Cheers Bear and coloured with Copics. I used the sketch from last weeks Sugar Bowl. The papers are the new Fancy pants - Beach Bum and the other stamps used are a mix of PaperBag Studio and Paper Artsy. Distressed the edges with a Chalk Ink Pad and used Viva Pearl Pen and a few Pearls.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Hello everyone, so nice to be back cardmaking after a 2 week break with the children. Don't know about you but it played havoc with my crafting. I hardly done any as we went on lots of day trips and enjoyed the lovely sunshine. Even managed to get hubby to take a few extra days.

So onto this weeks challenge over at Lili of the Valley and with the Royal Wedding upon us, this weeks theme is "Love Is In The Air".

I just love these card blanks from Craftwork Cards, gives real definition I think. The image is from the LOTV Die Cut Sheets. This is "Fun Time Teddies".

Used Purple Bazzill, a sheet from 7 Gypsies, my favourite TH Butterfly Stamp, Wild Orchid Flowers, Stickles, Viva Pearl Pens, Gold Glimmer Mist, Adirondaak Paint Dabbers, Pearls from Hobby House, Punched Leaves and Photo Turns and the Sentiment is LOTV from the new Additions Range.

I got another 4 Top 3 Blinkies over the last few days, it really is a great boost when your mojo is not on form and always puts a smile on my face.

Vintage Butterfly Card......

This is one of those of those cards that came out of know where. Just before midnight last night I went into my craftroom to have a bit of a tidy as my desk was messy. Was putting a stamp away when this one caught my eye. My Websters papers were out and so was my favourite TH Butterfly stamp. So I sat and played and this is what I came up with.

The annoying this is, earlier in the evening, I coloured an image for a DT Card, but trying to make it up was a nightmare. Couldn't decide on papers, embellishments etc so I thought I'd sleep on it. Spur of the moment seems to work for me!

The Websters papers have been stamped randomly with the Butterfly stamp. Used "Memories" to stamp in the box which was blank. MS Punched Butterflies which have been spritzed with Glimmer Mists and again the Gold Adirondaak Dabber, piece of Lace, Pearl Pen, Gems and lots of Stickles.

Let me know what you think, I'm rather pleased with this one.

CES Challenge DT Card & other challenges...

Hello everyone, Saturdays here again and were well into spring. Kids halfway threw the school hols and the weathers been quite pleasant. Thanks to everyone who entered last weeks challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog.
This week we have a fab sketch for you and this is my take.

And this weeks prize is a £10.oo voucher to spend in Crafty Emma's Store

I have used my new Tatty Buttons Stamp that I purchased from Ally Pally and coloured with Copics. I don't usually use such strong colours but love the way she's turned out. Papers are Websters (available at Crafty Emmas Store). Flowers are from CES and Wild Orchid and the Butterfly is a Marianne Die Cut coloured with a Chalk Ink Pad, dabbed with the Gold Adirondaak Dabber then covered with Gold Glammer Dust. All edged with Chalk Ink Pads and used my favourite "Field of Sky" background Stamp around the image.

Flowers spritzed with Gold & Red Glimmer Mists.
