Sweet Stampin DT Card

Yays its saturday and this is preposted as were away in Alton Towers with my hubbys brother and his family so wont be around this weekend. 6 kids and I think rain, but I'm sure we'll be enjoying ourselves.
This week over at the Sweet Stampin Challenge, its "Team Carrie's" turn and we have a fantastic sketch for you to play with. I have used one of the new Tilda's and coloured her with Pencils and Sansador. The backing paper is a new Mangolia one to and it was pure coincidence that these matched as I'd already coloured the image. Die cut with my Nellie Snellie Oval and added a Rose Viva Pearl Pens all around. Bazzill cardstock and the large MS Border Punch (forgotten its name now) behind the image and the MS Heart Border Punch for the Edges. Assorted flowers, all stickled, Pearl Gems, Pearl Bead Spray and a Sentiment. I've also stickler around the edges of the paper as I do like a bit of sparkle.

A slight challenge rule change. Please only enter a maximum of 2 entries from now on please.
I will be back in blogland Monday. All the kids back in school and hopefully a day to catch up.

Thats it for now.
Thankyou so much for stopping by my blog today and all the wonderful comments I've received on my last card. I love reading them all and just the boost I need when I've got brain freeze!
The rest of my teams have made beautiful cards to. I know they'd appreciate you taking a look.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Another thursday is upon us and the weather here in the UK is certainly Autumn. Heating on and a few new additions to my wardrobe. (not that I'm complaining)!
This week at the LOTV Challenge, Bev has another cracking sketch for you. Flip it, rotate it. What ever suits.

I'm afraid my card didn't photograph very well. Its wasn't for trying thats for sure and I do have a good camera, sorry bout that.
The papers are Dovecraft and the stamp is called Christmas Robin. Coloured with Promarkers and added Stickles, Flowers and a few Gems.
This week Lisa & Laila are again giving one winner a £10 voucher to spend in the LOTV Shop. Remember, you must use a LOTV Stamp/Image to qualify for the prize. My teamies have made the most beautiful cards and it would be great if you could play along.

Heres a list of challenges I am entering this card into;
Stamp Something - Something Punchy
Crafts 4 Eternity - All That Glitters

On another note. Over the next few days I will be posting my annual "Card for Daniel". He is on a real downer at the moment and not settling in at school at all. Autism is a horrible condition to live with and I feel helpless as I'm not near my son when he needs me. So I be asking again if you could send Daniel a birthday card this year as he's loved it in the past and it really does put a smile on his face. I think anything is worth a try right now.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog and hope you can join us this week over at the LOTV Challenge Blog

CES DT Piece (Tag) & Challenges

(Click photo for a much clearer picture)
Week 7 over at the CES Challenge Blog and this week teammate Kaylou has chosen the theme "Tags". We would like to see either a tag on your project or perhaps you'd prefer to make a tag which is what I've gone with although I think I may use this as a bookmark.
This is Mo Mannings "Bossy", what a wonderful stamp to own. She's been coloured with Aquamarkers onto Cartridge paper and a white pen for her cheeks.

The background was made with the Field of Sky Stamp. I bought this many years ago and spent a good 1/2hr looking for it as it was perfect for the delicate background I wanted to create. The postage stamp is Paper Artsy. Little Boy Charm & Gold Bead Spray are both available from Crafty Emma's Store and all the other bits from stash. Stickled as always.
Its not the best photo and is so much prettier IRL. Thought I may give this to my DD Zoe for her school book.
My DT buddies have great examples to share with you. Pop on over to the CES Challenge blog if you'd like a peek. Pollycraft are this weeks Sponsors and they are giving 5 digi images to one winner.

Her is my list of challenges. (I've nearly 200 active in my sidebar if you looking for more);

Ellephantastic - Anything Goes
Kaboodle Doodle - Celebrate the Colours of Fall

My New car!!

Heres my brand new car. Fresh from the showroom with only 9 miles on the clock. Its a Lexus 450 Hyrbrid SEL and full of gadgets. Don't even need a key to get in, start or stop and to lock you just touch the door handle. She's my pride and joy and hubby's not got behind the wheel yet.
I LOVE MY NEW CAR!!!!

My Zoe is very poorly today. Got me up in the night with a temperature of 100f but she's got worse throughout the day and as soon as the nurofen wears off, she's up to 104f. Sleeping right now so don't know if she's going to get to bed tonight. As much as I love my crafting, I do need my beauty sleep.

Back tomorrow with my CES Dt Card.

Now off to check on my poorly little girl...
