Well this is now my card completed. I do love the mix of a modern stamp with a vintage feel. and "Doraline" was a pleasure to work with. Coloured with Promarkers (more of the new colours on order) OOPS!!! The papers are Papermania Signature Range and have edged all with a Gold Encore Inkpad. Corner and Leaf Punches used, Ribbon and flowers from stash. The Sentiment is from a set from Kars and was stamped onto die cut with Nesties.

Another card that fits into a few challenges, but thats coz I have so many listed on my sidebar now.

An Award and some colouring!

Are you anything like me where you can never quite decide what your favourite colouring medium is? Copics are what I use most as I thought they were my favourite, then I'll go threw my Prisma Pencil stage and decide I like them better. Well, now I'm onto Promarkers and think they are brilliant.
Last night I didn't feel like making a card so inked up one of my many unused stamps and decided to have a little play with my Promarkers as I'd just taken delivery of some of the new colours that have just been released. (Lovin the Caramel). "Doraline" has a coloured image included with the stamp so I randomly chose some Promarkers and started to play. Now I dont like to blow my own trumpet, but I think I did a pretty good job. The image above is the my version and the one below is the one that came with the stamp. I'm not the most experienced when it comes to Promarkers but I am pretty thrilled with how mine came out. Lots of blending and I mean lots. So if I have time this evening, I'm going to use this image and make a card.

BTW, forgot to mention I'm a GDT for the Promarker Challenge during October so please come and play along with the upcoming challenges. I'd love to see you there!!
Thanks for looking and hope I haven't bored you too much...

PS: Heres and award from the lovely Penni I got a few days ago. Thankyou so very much, It means alot..

My First Cute Altered Box!!!!!

In all my years of crafting I have never altered a box. I've made a few but never recycled one before. This was a box of Cherry Brandy's. Well I did need an empty box so you can guess what happened to the choccies!!! I started by covering the box with Brown Bazill and used a Gold Adirondaak to distress the edges. Next I covered with a layer of spotty paper from K & Co Wild Rasberry and added some Cream Rafia Lace from Bunny Zoe Crafts. I covered Grungeboard pieces with the Gold Dabber and added Hero Art Flowers and punched some leaves which have been spritzed with a Gold and Rose Glimmer Mist and edged with a Chalk Ink Pad. The image has been coloured with Copics and Prisma Pencils. Think this has a nice Autumnal feel to it to.

(Click on image for a larger view)

Now without realizing, this fits into 8 challenges, Wow, not intentional but I do like my challenges.
Secret Crafter - One For The Girls Fun With Shapes - Autumn PaperPlay - Spot This Creative Inspiration - Autumn/Fall
My Time To Craft - Autumn Stamp With Fun - Autumn Pile It On - Punches
Stamptacular - Anything But A Card.

Thanks for looking and I'd love to read your feedback as this was a new project for me.
Take Care!

Miss Clause Christmas Card.....

This is a card I made which fits into this weeks Crafty Angels and Cupcake Challenges. I have again used Miss Clause (think she's addictive) and coloured her with Copics and a Clear Sakura Pen. The background was made with a Copic Marker and Gold Glimmer Mist. The Snowflake was cut on the MM Slice and spirtzed again with the Gold Glimmer Mist. Papers are the gorgeous Cosmo Cricket and all the other bits are from my stash. Dont think the photo picks up all the glimmer on this card as it looks so much better IRL. Loving this stamp and really enjoy making christmas cards right now, so lets hope Mr Mojo stays put for a while.

I managed to put my Paper Storage Tower together with ease. Took about 20mins for the frame and a good hour making up all 15 draws. Hoped alot of my papers would fit in but I knew 1 unit wouldn't be enough LOL.

I have Jessica off ill today and have just had a call from Daniels Boardings School to say he is under the weather, so off now for a 3hr car journey to colllect my boy. So hopefully catch up with some blogs tonight.
So much inspiration out there and I love viewing your blogs.

3 Challenge Card

Yay, after a few chill out days I've managed to finish a card. My mojo still thinks its on holiday but I am trying to get it back. Does seem weird though making a card just for a challenge and I hope this will do for this weeks Lots to Do, Creative Inspirations and Stamp Something. Stamp is PB and coloured with SU Watercolour Crayons. Its that time of year where all the family seem to have continuious birthdays right up to xmas, so am going to stick with it and craft when I can, coz I could never give it up altogether. I've missed my buddies and all the amazing cards you create, not to mention all the new stash I have on order (LOL).
Be back soon with another I hope,
Thanks for looking and an even bigger thank you for all the lovely comments you left me in my previous post. Now hoping to catch up on some blog hopping tonight!!

I'm Back Online....

Hello everyone,
Just letting you know I'm up and running again. My power cord packed up so I couldnt use my computer but its all sorted now and am so glad to be back. My mojo went with it I think because I haven't been crafting at all. Daniel is now at boarding school and I have got to spend alot of time with Zoe during the week as she doesn't have her playmate anymore. So I've made a very hard decision (and kept changing my mind) but have stepped down from all my DT's. It wasn't an easy decision as I love my crafting to bits, but things have changed and I'm putting family first and crafting second. I'll still be around, blog hop and posting, but maybe not so many. Really depends on what time I have spare, so thanks to those who have stopped by over the last week and a bigger thanks to all my DT buddies and hosts. You all do an amazing job and it was so nice to work with all you lovely girls.

I've got an image coloured ready to be made up, so hope to be back over the weekend with something. Sending big hugs to all my blogging buddies and thanks to Minxy for posting on my behalf.
TTFN and Thanks for stopping by. Have a lovely weekend!!

Stampin For The Weekend DT Card

Firstly I just want to apologise to all my DT's and blogging buddies for being so quiet over last the few weeks. There has been alot going on to the run up of the kids going back to school and viewings on our house has kept me busy. Daniel started his new school yesterday and is now Boarding at a Special Needs school in Margate. Last night was the first night without him and it was very strange not having here. He'll be home for the weekend but doing his first full week next week will be the big test, I miss him loads already. On a positive note, he seems to be settling in well and life seems to be getting back on track so more time for crafting and keeping ontop of all your lovely blogs and DT's.
Anyway, heres my card for this weeks Stampin For The Weekend. This weeks theme is Teal, Pink and Orange. I've tried something a bit different, been seening quite a few cards call Scraplings. Basically using up any card scraps. Mine measures 2 1/2 x 4.25 inches. (sorry about the poor piccie). I have used a stamp from Kadoodle and coloured with Copics. The tree is SU and coloured with Green Smooch. This weeks sponsors are The Craft Barn and they are offering a £15 voucher, and we welcome Carlie & Lorraine as our guest designers. Do check out what stunning creations the rest of the DT have made.
BTW, we had an offer on our house yesterday so I'm going to be spending the next few days looks at property. Fingers crossed all goes well with the sale. So normal services will resume as of next week. Will be nice to get back to some normality and how I relish the peace and quiet!!!
Take Care and TFL!!
